"The true essence of an Asado engages family & friends long before the food hits the table."

ASADO LIFE is a full-service, experience-driven waterfront restaurant. Our passion is to create Argentine inspired, live fire Asado dining along St. Augustine's San Sebastián river.

Dining experiences include our: Waterfront Asado, 6:30p or 7p; Gaucho-style Asador's Club, 6:30p; Chef's Table Experience, 6:30p; and Barcuterie, 7:30p.

We only offer one seating per time slot so that our guests may relax and enjoy their evening. Our bar reopens at 5:30p for our dinner guests that wish to arrive early for a drink.

Our Asados are planned in advance to ensure we create the best experience possible for our guest. We are unable to accept cancellations or changes within 72 hours of the scheduled Asado.

Our Asados are rain or shine occasions. We have covered dining areas in the event of rain. Please dress to your comfort level for outdoor dining.

We do not allow outside wine or beverages.

Take in all of the sights, sounds, and aromas, of the Asado while dining along the San Sebastian River. The Waterfront Asado option is our prix fixe style, 5 course menu. Select an entree for each guest, and we take care of the rest. Prices start at $59 per guest + tax & gratuity. We only offer one seating for our Waterfront Asado. We put a lot of time & effort into our Asados, and we want to ensure our guests can relax and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. French dip was overpriced and just so-so. Potatoes look great but have virtually no other taste than potato. Fish and chips was heavy on the chips and only 2 small fish. Salads overpriced and not very tasty.

Great food! We sat outside for my wife's Birthday lunch and loved the view. The flies were a little annoying and just an FYI if you decide to dine outdoors you should be prepared to smell like BBQ smoke for the rest of the day (which we didn't mind).Our waitress was mediocre . She took a while to come back between drink refills/orders. She also left without telling us so a new waiter had to come finish up with us. Other than that our experience was nice. We will be back with friends!

Awesome experience at Asado Life. Portion are large! I had the roast beef sandwich on foccacia bread, which was out of this world. Love everything about this place. And stop by their market!

With construction nearby it was a challenge to find. Our table was immediately ready when we arrived. Excellent service, great food with artful presentation . The entire staff works hard is friendly and alert to the patrons needs. I spilled my water and someone assisted me immediately. We will be back- atmosphere is very inviting.

Continues to be one of our favorite restaurants since moving to Florida. In fact today we were comparing it to restaurants near our old home in Texas and we think this place would take top honors from our regular restaurant rotations. Today we came for lunch. I had the chicken thigh sandwich on focaccia bread and it was spectacular. I do not know how they were seasoning the chicken as I would love to replicate it at home. The cook was perfect. The seasoning was savory, and the focaccia bread is worth coming here for all by itself. Service as always was attentive, polite and friendly if you’re thinking about coming and are not sure about it yet, just go you will not be disappointed

This is one of our usual spots for a great night with out of town friends. Unfortunately last nights experience was subpar at best! Upon arrival there was no hostess/host at the host station. After a few moments a nice young man told us he would set up our bar top while we waited at the bar. We sat at the bar and were not acknowledged for 15 minutes. 15 minutes??? At least make eye contact and let us know you will be with us shortly. We were a PREPAID party of 6 it’s not like you didn’t see us. The restaurant seemed to have a few large parties last night which I understand but then you need to staff accordingly. The very nice waitress that usually assists us showed us to our table but did advise us she would not be our waitress this evening as she was working a large party but would was more than happy to help while waiting for ours. We sat at the table for at least 5-7 minutes waiting for a drink order to be taken. The food is always great but with a $600 price tag for the evening this is not at all the service we are hoping for, especially when we have raved about our experience in the past to the folks we brought with us.
