Les propriétaires de l'Artisans Restaurant ont créé un lieu unique en son genre, doté d'une grande cuisine installée au milieu du restaurant, dont vous pourrez admirer le travail depuis chaque table. Food was over priced, 75 dollars for gratuity is insane. No wine and valentines prices were not even listed or advertised till we sat down, if I would of known I was going to spend 500 dollars for 2 people I would have gone somewhere else. Food wasn’t good and didn’t even have a choice on ordering.

Valentine's meal was way overpriced for what was offered. Did not make a good first impression. Too many great places in Houston to eat quality, reasonably priced French cusine.

Terrible. Overpriced set price for Valentine's Day. We were initially seated at the open kitchen countertop. Loud, bright, no privacy, not romantic at all for Valentine's Day even though there were plenty of tables available. I was only offered different seating after expressing my displeasure. The table we were seated at wobbled. Our server was uninformed about the menu and awkward. It's like they brought out the B team for Valentine's Day. The food was just ok. I felt like I was being served portioned meals from a cafeteria. For $189pp + tax and 20% gratuity, and mandatory valet ,they severely under delivered. I will not be coming back. I advise you not to as well.

Valentines menu was great a bit overpriced with no wine pairings. Table layout was awkward and too close, you could hear other tables conversation, we were facing strangers. Spent the night trying to avoid awkward eye contact. Food and service was great.

We got the Chef’s Table Menu and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the wine was very good and to see the kitchen dynamic was fun!

Artisans continues to offer high--quality, fine dining at a convenient location with convenient parking and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their wine steward is always helpful in selecting wines from their excellent wine list.

Another outstanding experience at Artisans. The service was amazing, recognizing we had theater tickets and spacing everything accordingly. Our appetizers were over the top (best beef tartare ever) and scallops that included lobster bisque and crab ravioli. Our main courses, duck confit and peppercorn tenderloin that had prosciutto wrapped green beans want us to order again. The sommelier recommended wine was outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality.

We truly enjoyed our dinner. The food was exquisite and true to French cuisine with a beautiful presentation. Congrats to the chef and the team. The service was OK. We had to ask the waiter to remove the breadcrumbs from the table, which is something we shouldn’t have to do in this type of establishment. Suggest a refresher training for the waiters and staff. We will definitely go back. We loved the restaurant and the food. Thank you

Although I miss the convenience (to me) and the cozy ambiance of the old place, still one of the best fine dining values in Houston! It’s our go to when we want ta great meal without the fuss of figuring out what we want.
