Artisan Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern offers a unique and innovative dining experience with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Our Great Lakes-inspired, New American cuisine has an emphasis on farm-fresh fare from local and regional farms, celebrating the theme of craftsmanship and sustainability.
With booking a table in Artisan please advise your table will be reserved for 2 hours starting at the time of your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUTSIDE TABLES ARE RESERVED UPON REQUEST BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
If you have requested a table outdoors, please be advised that in the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate your party inside at the same reservation time, however we cannot guarantee a table inside at the same exact time and may need to adjust the reservation time accordingly.

Lovely venue for a birthday celebration on the water. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was great! We had a wonderful tome!

Waiter Giovanni was excellent. For was really good. Shrimp Vodka outstanding. Sat on porch which was screened in and temps were perfect.

Food, staff, atmosphere was fantastic! A little pricey, but we enjoyed every bite and will be back the next time we are in town.

The food was expensive for what you got. The fish was dry. It took a bit too long to get the food

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me. I may be an exception. Things just didn't go well start to finish from getting a table where I could view the water to food that had to be sent back, slow service, servers that didn't really know a lot about the food, and so on. What sealed it was that I suspect I was given a second plate of food that was actually prepared for someone else (!). And the second plate the duck breast was still overcooked. I won't be back anytime soon. Others seemed to really like it; so, check it out and decide for yourself(ves).
