Artisan Waterfront Restaurant & Tavern offers a unique and innovative dining experience with magnificent views of Lake Michigan. Our Great Lakes-inspired, New American cuisine has an emphasis on farm-fresh fare from local and regional farms, celebrating the theme of craftsmanship and sustainability.
With booking a table in Artisan please advise your table will be reserved for 2 hours starting at the time of your reservation.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUTSIDE TABLES ARE RESERVED UPON REQUEST BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.
If you have requested a table outdoors, please be advised that in the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to accommodate your party inside at the same reservation time, however we cannot guarantee a table inside at the same exact time and may need to adjust the reservation time accordingly.

As with previous visits, the service was outstanding. Our anniversary was acknowledged with glasses of champagne. Every menu item we ordered was a new favorite.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the pork chop due to being undercooked. I was graciously compensated for the misstep, which was appreciated. The dessert was wonderful. I do wish I'd had a nicer table. It was different than all the other tables in the room. Spotlight shining down on it and lacked same table decor as all the others.

James at the bar went above and beyond and made our ladies Gunpowder Bees Knees that were wonderful and our server Tanniel was friendly, patient and lovely. We love the Delamar and Artisan and will make it at least one stop on every trip to TC!

Artisan’s chef Sara is very talented. This was not just a meal but an experience. Something as simple as butternut squash was transformed into a delicious dish. The miso Caesar salad was one of the best salads I’ve had. The chowder was light and tasty. The service here made us feel like we were famous. The friendly and professional service, the amazing food and great view make this a 5 star.

I went to Artisan with my fiancé and another couple. We had an exceptional meal with exceptional service. Two of us had the pork chops and two of us had the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. The shrimp was delicious and the pork chops were to die for; absolutely mouthwatering. Our server was great and even gave us a little complimentary champagne. People were constantly coming around refilling waters and cleaning up crumbs. The restaurant itself, which is located inside a hotel, is clean and contemporary. It is spacious but quiet. I have been to a lot of restaurants, and Artisan was one of the top dining experiences I have had.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating birthdays. We were greeted warmly. All dietary needs were taken very seriously. Lauren was an amazing server who made us feel like we were old friends. The food was fantastic. We had appetizers, dinner and dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and was just fantastic. A wonderful place we will definitely return!

Lovely venue for a birthday celebration on the water. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was great! We had a wonderful tome!
