Been a regular at Artisan but have to say last night wasn’t the best, the DJ playing music, if you can call it that, as if he was up a night club, not where people are trying to enjoy a social night out with friends and family, background music, fine, but blasting out as it was ruined our evening, asked for it to be turned down on numerous occasions, went down for a while but then back up!! Husband didn’t enjoy his meal either, curried duo of lamb, very dry, no curry sauce which may have helped with it being so dry!! Will definitely not be returning again on a Saturday night especially!!

service was very slow. Good that we were not in a rush. Took an hour to get our meal, but worth the wait. It was delicious. Thank you

My friend and I went for the Friday fish and chip offer of £25 for two people. You get fish and chips mushy peas, tartar sauce, curry mayonnaise and bread and butter. The food was excellent value for money. Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff.

We were looked after excellently. Waiting times on some menu items were explained fully to us and helped our choice as we didn't have much time. My husband had a classic burger which was massive and he loved it. I had the beetroot and wild mushroom risotto which was gorgeous. The service was spot on, the wine was nice and we will definitely return when we next visit.

Have eaten here previously on several occasions and it didn’t disappoint. The service was first class along with the food. Great value for money. Huge portion sizes. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very relaxing with a lovely atmosphere. Accessible disability friendly. Highly recommend especially Sunday lunch.
