We participated in the “High Tea” experience and were extremely disappointed. For $65 you got to sample only one type of tea, and got an assortment of fairly cheap pastries. I would value this overall experience no more than $25-$30, so we were extremely disappointed at the lack of product worth the value. We also sat down and were not greeted by wait staff for over 15 minutes, however, we saw staff walking around and chatting at a table towards the back. I went up to the host stand to get service. Would not recommend, not worth the price.

I love art & Soul. This is the best brunch in DC hands Down. I always order two orders of the smoked salmon because it’s really to die for honestly. Like last meal worthy. Will definitely be seeing them soon as I’m already craving my farmers breakfast with my perfectly cooked eggs!!! Crab deviled eggs also a winner. And the French toast. Love love love !!

My party had the fried chicken sandwich, the Angus burger and Braised Short rib hash. Everything was delicious, the braised short rib hash was abit salty but it was bearable. The poached eggs were perfect! The cocktail drinks were too sweet.

Reservations were difficult to make - even though I spoke to someone in the phone (they only picked up once out of multiple attempts), I was directed to Tesy to book. The restaurant is/was not on Resy. I ended up finding it on Open Table and making the Rez here. When I spoke to the individual, I deliberately asked if they could accommodate the one vegan in our party and was assured that they had a vegan menu. They do not. They sent two different servers to the table to confirm what the vegan could/not eat then sent over the same food as the rest of the party minus one sandwich with salmon. Additionally, they were out of our first and then second selections of tea. The hot tea took over 45 minutes to arrive, the food came about 15 minutes thereafter. The decor is stark, the food terrible, and the overall experience a disappointment.

This is a great place to enjoy brunch with friends and family. The food was delicious - a little bit fancier than home-cooked but nuanced (still very substantial portions). The service was wonderful - everyone was attentive, but they also left us alone with no hurrying. The room was very pleasant - no annoying background music tracks and quiet talking amongst the other patrons. I would highly recommend this restaurant based on our visit!

Our luncheon experience was excellent. We were on our way to my son’s law school graduation. Service was very efficient and the brought out a cheesecake with candle to celebrate our occasion!
