Arros QD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking, brought to life in the heart of Fitzrovia. Everything revolves around the six-metre woodfire stove where our chefs weave their magic, with theatrical seating around the open kitchen downstairs and a classic dining experience on the upper floor. Our space was conceived by globally renowned Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with open fires and a glazed wine cellar providing a spectacular visual backdrop in which to experience the evolution of paella. Our menu combines Mediterranean influences with locally sourced ingredients, accompanied by classic wines from around the world, as well as many undiscovered Spanish gems that you will find nowhere else in London.

                                                                                                                Excellent meal and wonderful staff. The Paella Matanza that we had was beautifully cooked with a rich, deep flavour. The brown crab starter was also a highlight. Great staff who also accommodated us to move seats and for the cake to celebrate my wife's birthday.

                                                                                                                We four on the table for lunch. Attentive staff, extensive wine list with some outstanding vintages. We ordered mostly vegetarian option- all wonderful. Would go again.

                                                                                                                I think the food was not as good as before but still enjoyable. Service was very average, too rushy to take all the plates, forgot about the order a few times, and wrongly charged the water the table had. Price increased, but I’m not sure it’s the best strategy given the second floor is completely empty on a Saturday evening.

                                                                                                                Amazing ambience and great Spanish food. We had the Burrata, Goat Cheese and Crab Salad. All so good…but the highlight were the Paella.

                                                                                                                Excellent food let down by the poor service. Waiter did not smile once and was very brush. Nice chandelier upstairs but the bright light came on at 11 pm on the dot while we were still finishing our deserts and wine. They refused to dim the light. When I complained they asked me if I would like to speak with the manager- the manager never showed. Shame. They could have dimmed the lights for another 10 min while we pay the bill. It would have been a different experience altogether.

                                                                                                                I’m Spanish and I can comfortably say this is one of the best places in the world to enjoy a good, genuine Spanish rice in its different variants. Food, service and ambiance are simply fantastic.
