Arrivederci Ristorante is an authentic Italian restaurant. Arrivederci means hello. The restaurant's name refers to Italian hospitality offered here. It has a decent semi-formal ambiance. The walls are decorated with paintings gathered from different parts of Europe. Antique lamps are hung from the ceilings to add a rustic appeal. Arrivederci specializes in preparing all dishes with authentic Italian recipes and ingredients. Grigliata vegetariana is prepared with a variety of assorted grilled vegetables. Rigatoni amatriciana is prepared with tabular pasta soaked in rich sauce, prepared with tomatoes and romano cheese. Italian bacon topping enhances the flavor. Arrivederci is one of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego. The food is exquisite and the staff makes you feel like family. I was celebrating my birthday and they made sure it was a memorable one. I highly recommend it for tasty delicious food, great ambience and wonderful service.

We love this place, the food is always excellent, the service is outstanding, and the wine list is a great value. We were commenting at dinner on how much menu items at most restaurants have seemingly skyrocketed. This is a place that has not jacked up the fees while maintaining quality. Also, a shout out for Josef awesome server.

Busy restaurant… that is why I booked a reservation on OpenTable. But when we arrived, the staff did not operate like a traditional restaurant with a host or manager to check you in. A server just sat a bunch of guests at tables, and then told us he would be with us soon. About 10 minutes later we were sat, but never asked how many in our party, etc. I never even got to tell them we had a reservation. This part of the event aside, it was good. I’ve always liked this restaurant, and will be back. However, I will not count on my booked reservation meaning anything if booking on a busy weekend.

I’ve been going to Arrivederci for close to 10 years and the quality of food and service are both excellent to this day. Highly recommend it.

Consistent friendly and attentive servers, delicious and authentic food. Large menu with so many items to choose from, but then they always have an extensive, weekly specials menu in addition, that makes deciding so hard ! Parking lot adjacent to restaurant.

We 5 sat outside and were treated to the tastiest and most amazing meal. It was very authentic and so was our server! His Italian accent made us feel like we were in Italia! I’ve been there and this restaurant made me feel like I was back again. It was my daughter’s bday and she was treated to a complimentary slice of delicious fudge cake complete with a candle and a song. A great experience.

Always such a good time at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, the service wonderful, and we really enjoyed bringing my sister, who is visiting San Diego for the first time, to this wonderful spot.

Haven't been there for years and it was great to go back and be reminded how good this restaurant is! Very generous portions. Flavorful and fulfilling. It can get noisy but we were lucky to get a side table off on the side that was quiet for our conversation of 4 people. We all agreed we're going to come back soon!
