Our server Brad had a great sense of humor and was constantly checking on our party. Great italian food for a date of any kind. Also one of the best Sangiovese wines I’ve tried. highly recommend this fine italian cuisine!

Let me start off by staying that the pasta is absolutely amazing! I had the PISTACHIOSA and it was delicious. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and every time the food is incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food.

It was a very busy night and extremely noisy. Difficult to have a normal conversation. Owners should look into more sound proofing or dividing up tables as it has a cafeteria feel right now. Pasta dishes were just ok. Caprese salad was terrible as tomatoes had no flavor and mozzarella was dense and dry. Bread in basket was also very dry with not butter or olive oil served as is usual in Italian restaurants. Server was ok, though the young gentleman who bussed our table was very friendly and attentive. He should be a server! My first time at restaurant but not sure I would go back since ambience is not great for dinner due to noise level.

Although there was a lot of staff there, the service was very slow and the bus boy did a majority of the work for our table.

Delicious meal! Very cute restaurant with modern vibe. Only drawback is freeway noise bc they are on the frontage road next to I-8 but we will definitely return!

Dined here during San Diego Restaurant Week (SDRW) Jan 2025 for the first time. Service is top-notch: friendly and very attentive. Value is good. Tried the Caesar Salad, Ragu della Nonna, Eggplant Parmesan, and baked mushroom. The mushroom and Ragu were excellent. The Caesar salad was average. The eggplant was swimming in oil and therefore, difficult to eat. Had to pour the oil off of it. We saw other diners with bread, but were not offered any. Maybe it's extra? The SDRW desserts were sold out, so they offered us chocolate cake and cheesecake instead; both were scrumptious. The restaurant was extremely busy for a Wednesday night. Energy high. We will try this place again soon.

Visited for restaurant week & enjoyed the variety of offerings available for the price fix menu. Reasonable prices even without the special menu. Quality was good, but some of the pasta dishes could’ve been better. Not sure if they make their own pasta. Sauces were all very tasty, as were the appetizers. We would likely pass on the dessert next time, which was included in the special menu. Service was nice, very authentic Italian staff. Had a bit higher hopes for the pasta.

We had the cacio&pepi pasta. Very good dish. Very reminiscent of our experience in Tuscany. The steak was just okay not very lean a little grisel. Service was excellent . Server very attentive. Good wine selection as well.
