Arlo Grey is the LINE's lakeside restaurant by Top Chef winner, host , and cookbook author Kristen Kish. At Arlo Grey, Kish and Executive Chef Alejandro Munoz dig deep into the bountiful ingredients of Central Texas to create a mix of dishes. The restaurant reflects Kristen's playful yet refined cuisine, pulling inspiration from her classical training as a well as nostalgic dishes that highlight her upbringing and love of travel. Come by for a casual, comfortable experience and a menu designed to nourish the soul. Reservations are highly recommended. Valet-parking is available for $10 for 3 hours with validation.

We walked into this place not knowing it was fancy - but found out real quick. The lights are very dim so you need your phone flashlight to read the menu, the waiter was very patient and very professional and explained who the chef was. My only issue is the waiter seemed a little upset about some of my questions/requests, like: can I split the check with my party, can we start with these items now and order more later, can I have a to go box. Maybe that’s taboo at a fancy place? Most of the food was delicious and beautiful and some items were overpriced and some just right. I did love the lady Susan in the middle of the table that allows you to go family style - not that the meals were big enough for family style.

Out server was excellent. She recommended some dishes and we were not disappointed by her recommendations. The rabbit appetizer was delicious and well prepared. The chicken for the chicken entree was tasty & cooked perfectly but the acorn squash was undercooked and under seasoned.

The menu is great. We have been here before and every dish we order is a real treat. Enough options to satisfy anyone, but not too many. The service is always great, the preparation is always great as well. It is apparent every dish is made with care. You don't get the feeling they are trying to flip as many tables as they can or the food is rushed like so many other places. The prices vary. Overall reasonable for what you get and where you are getting it. While it is a nice place it's not pretentious. Casual or dressy, everyone is welcome and comfortable in true Austin style.

I love Kristen Kish and was very excited to have dinner at her restaurant on my first trip to Austin - it did not disappoint. I had the burrata, Berkshire pork chop, and toasted sourdough ice cream and coffee to finish. I would get any of these again. They have a great wine selection to pick from. Kevin, my server was attentive and I never felt rushed or that I had to wait on him for anything. I left full and happy.

We had dinner here Saturday night and had an amazing experience. It was 3 sisters, and we were celebrating 2 birthdays. They made it a truly special night and made my two birthday sisters feel celebrated. The food was delicious, especially the rabbit and ricotta dumplings. We shared several dishes and cleaned our plates! Even in situations where there were some ingredients we didn't typically like, the food was exceptional. (For example - my sister doesn't like olives, but still enjoyed the tamponade for the sourdough. I'm not too fond of crab but I still ate more than my fair share of the crispy rice. The service was excellent and attentive but not intrusive. The one and only thing that could be less than 5-star was that the restaurant was a little dark, but only as far as it made it harder to take pictures of our food!
