We were blown away with the service ( all members of the server group worked so well as a team ) we felt like part of the family . The sushi was fresh , tasty and the presentation was top notch ! This was our first visit and it won’t be the last . This is gourmet sushi not fast food style sushi … top notch !!! Yummmmo

Easily the best sushi in Calgary. We live in Tokyo for part of the year. There are zero places in Alberta that offer sushi at a similar grade. Highly recommend.

We just love Ari Sushi. We go here before we go to Vancouver. Better Sushi. Better price. Super service. Thanks Somi! Bluefin- always awesome! But please don’t believe me - I want to still be able to book a table! Haha.

Sushi is fresh and well presented. Server explained what was what on each platter without prompt. Had noted on the reservation that we are celebrating a birthday. No acknowledgement of the birthday and was shocked that they have a “cake-age” fee of $2.50 per person. It was never mentioned anywhere until we brought the cake out on the table. Doesn’t feel like they are a family friendly restaurant. Will not be bringing my family back. Parking is tough. Needs lines repainted in the lot so that people can park properly. Food and service wasn’t good enough to overcome the negative experience.

The lunch sashimi was good but the shrimp was bitter. Service was kind of slow.

One of the best sushi places in Calgary! The freshness of the sushi stands out from its competitors. The presentation of the food was top tier and the food’s delicious taste has kept me coming back every time I visit Calgary. Ari Sushi is on par with restaurants in Vancouver, BC! Prices are very fair and priced notably better than similar calibre restaurants. Variety of fish is excellent. Fresh uni (sea urchin) from Hokkaido, Japan… was amongst the best I have had in North America. This unassuming restaurant is a hidden gem. Will be back soon!

Some of, if not the best sushi in the city! Such high quality, care and attention. Sushi is an art here and you can see and taste the difference. Must try!
