California native John Fraser, who is spearheading the food and beverage experience at The West Hollywood EDITION, has created signature restaurant Ardor as a showcase for vegetable-forward healthy California cuisine with flavors inspired by local ingredients. Recognized as one of the best vegetable chefs in the world, Fraser’s menu features an artful balance of produce and meats, using techniques from around the world and products sourced hyper-locally. Each dish is made with organic ingredients and focuses on the essence of food, prepared simply and presented socially for a contemporary culinary journey. Live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.

Reservations are seated based on availability at arrival and are allocated 2 hours to dine once seated. Reservation of 5 or greater will be allocated 2.5 hours. Full party must be present in order to be seated & we allow a 15 minute grace period.

An 18.5% Staff Charge Added to all Checks and is Paid Entirely to Service Staff

Ardor is excited to launch an indulgent new brunch experience unlike any other. Guests will partake in an A La Carte menu thoughtfully crafted by Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser. Our menu effortlessly balances Ardor’s hyper-local, produce driven core with playful takes on familiar favorites. Please note: an 18.5% staff charge will be added to your bill for parties of 8 or more. The staff charge is paid entirely to service employees. Taxes are not included. The food was blah and the portions was minimum. I was not impressed with the food. The service was impeccable and very efficient. Not in my top five at all.

Disappointed we requested a booth and were declined but there were multiple booths open the entire time we were there.

Andrew was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was outstanding from start to finish. I will definitely be coming back. Definitely worth trying everything on the menu. Couldn’t have been more pleased

Superb dining experience-wonderful menu with so many excellent dishes with knowledgeable, professional staff advising on each item and the wines-all in a very beautiful restaurant. In sum a special place perfect for date nights and special occasions.

Great ambiance. Service was attentive and food came out quickly. Milk bread was great. Parking can be validated.

Note parking can get very expensive.....ended up paying $65 for valet parking

I've been living in LA for more than 9 years. I've been to over 100 different restaurants in that time. Many of them are chef restaurants. This one is the best I've been to so far. It starts and ends with the people who makes this place unique: Our waiters Martin and Gideon were a delightful combination of professionalism and warmth. They made us feel like we were family members being spoiled by them. The food was heavenly. We had the Heirloom Cherry Tomato to clean our palates. It was very refreshing and flavorful. 10 out of 10 We then had the Tandoor Carrots. The real star of that dish was actually the eggplant. I don't even like eggplant but both my wife and I devoured it. We also had with that a Broccolini with Tahini dish. This one was probably my favorite. It was well balanced and filled with flavors. My wife had the Milk Bread she gave it 10 out of 10. Entrees- my wife had the Aleppo Crusted Shrimp and gave it 10 out of 10. I had the Seared Ora King Salmon I'd give it 8 out of 10. Everything was very fresh. Desserts- my wife had a combination of chocolate, mint ice cream, and cheesecake base. At that point she didn't have room in her stomach and yet she finished it all because it was that delicious. I had an amazing vegan dessert that didn't taste vegan at all. It had rice, coconut cream, mango, white chocolate, and crunchy caramel. The patio was beautiful, the ambiance was nice and intimate, the prices were very reasonable, even for the veuve clicquot bottle. The quality of every single thing was superb, and you can tell the chef and management foster a very positive atmosphere by not only investing in their customers experience with their work, but also by selecting staff who is just as passionate about it as they do. We can't wait to be back!

Our server was so kind and thoughtful and I DO NOT want this to reflect poorly on them as I believe service was short staffed. The wait was incredibly long by any normal standard leading to a disappointing birthday experience. 20-30 minutes between dishes after plates had been cleared and almost every table that arrived after us received their food and even their checks while we waited for our dishes. We spent a total 3 hours there and at least 1.5 of the 3 hours was pure wait time. Since I’ve been to Ardor previously I know how good the service can be but this experience was extremely disappointing.

Martin and Miranda took care of us and were amazing. Great service all around. Food was solid. We didn’t realize this spot was in a hotel til we got there. Edward showed us the roof deck bar/lounge and the pool and we decided to book a stay-cation there for later this summer. Thanks for the nice evening.
