Welcome to Ardallan Kitchen, a casual dining bistro set in a converted Victorian Stable in the heart of Felling, Gateshead. We provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with modern décor and a private courtyard with an ornamental cherry tree to enjoy the finer weather.

At Ardallan Kitchen, we take pride in providing delicious and locally sourced food. Our menu is inventive and generous, with something for everyone – from Homity Pie and Whipped Feta on Toast to our scrumptious Blueberry Pancake Stacks and Cinnamon French Toast. Our coffees and desserts are always sensational, and our friendly and attentive team will ensure that your visit is truly memorable.

A delightful oasis in Felling. Quiet sophistication with wonderful food. Tom is a skilled chef with a great breadth of cooking experience. The staff ate friendly and very attentive and the atmosphere is quietly welcoming. This is a must for breakfast, lunch and weekend dinner. The evening vibe was lovely. Apparently a bar is the next thing for the place, currently diners free to bring their own alcohol. More people need to hear about this place. Certainly a must for us when visiting the area.

As usual lovely meal in perfect surroundings with attentive and friendly but not obtrusive staff. Thank you lovely Lil for greeting and service and Tom and kitchen staff for absolutely delicious meal. Looking forward to next visit. 👏

Our first visit here but definitely won’t be the last. Imaginative menu, beautifully presented food in generous portions. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance. Very impressed

I love this place. Today I introduced my friends to it and they loved it too. The restaurant is clean and always beautifully presented. The team have high standards in terms of attention to detail. As always, we were greeted by front of house and shown to our table. We ordered a selection of drinks and food. For my veggie friend, it’s great to see a good choice of quality and well presented tasty food. This family run business is a gem in Felling. Service is good, friendly and very accommodating. Thanks so much guys!

Absolutely beautiful meal.. we had the Ham shank hotpot and the red dragon pie. Delicious flavours , well presented and really good value for money. Too full for dessert but would have loved to try one as they all sounded delicious. The lady who served us was great. Really friendly and approachable. I will definitely be going back to sample some more dishes.
