Welcome to Ardallan Kitchen, a casual dining bistro set in a converted Victorian Stable in the heart of Felling, Gateshead. We provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with modern décor and a private courtyard with an ornamental cherry tree to enjoy the finer weather.

At Ardallan Kitchen, we take pride in providing delicious and locally sourced food. Our menu is inventive and generous, with something for everyone – from Homity Pie and Whipped Feta on Toast to our scrumptious Blueberry Pancake Stacks and Cinnamon French Toast. Our coffees and desserts are always sensational, and our friendly and attentive team will ensure that your visit is truly memorable.

This is sucha lovely place to visit. Great for a girlie lunch. Service can be wuite slow but the waitress did tell us it would be 20/25 minutes. Knowing was far better than just waiting in ignorance. We were able to have a good catch up and the food was well worth the wait. I could have chosrn several idishes from the menu. Settled on the breakfast burger, it was delicous. My friends all raved about their meals too. We will be back!

I've been to Ardallan Kitchen 6 times with different people each time. The food is always tasty and top quality and the whole place is spotlessly clean and tidy, including the kitchen which is open to see into if you're sitting outside. I chose Turkish eggs this time and it was amazing! But most notable whenever I'm there is the service. The staff are always so friendly and attentive, including the chef. I always leave wanting to return again soon.

Amazing bistro so nice to have somewhere good to go for breakfast in Felling, we visit regular for breakfast or evening meal. Always get a warm welcome from the staff, everyone very friendly and helpful. The food is always amazing and would highly recommend a visit to the bistro.

Food was delicious, so good and beautifully presented. Had coq au vin and the nicest mash with a lemon posset to follow. All very good and delicious and fresh. Will be back!

Just didn’t like the fact when there were only 3 sets of customers in same time they put us all at the same place even though there is a lot of space during the time I was there. It’s just to close to each other. I understand if it’s was busy but it was only 3 sets of table occupied and others was empty. This is not the first time it happen as well. A bit disappointed as it’s always the same staff does that as well.

We are a small and friendly team, and we all genuinely care about the service we provide. Deciding where best to seat customers is a constant challenge. While the bistro might have appeared to have ample seating when you first arrived shortly after we opened, we were preparing for a busy day ahead with a number of bookings, some with specific accessibility needs. We want every guest to have a positive experience, and it's regretful that we didn't get the chance to address this issue while you were still here. Had you made us aware of your discomfort, we would have tried to find a more suitable table for you. We hope you will allow us to do better next time you visit.

Lovely little find. We sat in a shady little courtyard. The menu although not massive had a varied choice of things. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
