We booked well in advance and provided credit card details, we were asked to confirm our booking 24 hours beforehand which we’d did. After taking a taxi to the restaurant we arrived ahead of our reservation time only to find that the security shutters were down and the place was in darkness. So annoying we tried calling the telephone number wondering if they had moved premises without updating their website but to no avail as there was no answer, we tried calling again on Monday evening after returning home but still no answer. We found ourselves in a strange city with nowhere in the rain to go!! We took shelter in the Ramada Hotel opposite and googled for alternative Italian Restaurants, we ended up taking another taxi to Da Vinci and had a wonderful meal albeit more expensive than Arco which we had visited on two previous occasions whilst visiting the area for a cycling race. Would be good to get some feedback as to what is going on with Arco

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience on Friday evening – we had to wait an hour and a half for our food which wasn’t brilliant when it arrived. Apparently they only had one chef which they should have told us about and that we could expect a long wait, the staff were not very communicative . Would not go back

Calamari and the cheese garlic bread was the best I have ever had. All the food was amazing. The Service was really good. Restaurant was really clean and well laid out

Table of 6 people, all arrived within 5 minutes of booked time (7:30pm). It was 15 minutes before we were asked for drinks order and another 10 before they were delivered. Another 5-10 minute wait to order food. Starters arrived around 8:30pm. Had to ask several times when the mains would be arriving, finally arrived at around 9:15pm, by which time 2 of our party said it was too late to eat and asked for their food to be boxed up to take away. However those who did eat very much enjoyed the food. When given the bill there was no acknowledgement of the delays and everything was charged in full. When we asked them to reconsider, they offered a 20% discount, however no explanation or apology from management. Overall a disappointing experience.

We had read on another guidance website that service was very slow, so as we had to be at the theatre for 7.30, we booked a table for 5 just to give them the benefit of the doubt. When we got there the shutters were still down so we waited elsewhere to give them a chance to open. We were the first people in there, although it did start to fill up and the service was excellent. Each course was well timed and the food was amazing. It is expensive, but the food is freshly made and tastes really good. Ambience is nice and there is a nice feel about the place.
