Last night’s dining experience at Acqua al 2 in Annapolis was nothing short of magical! 🍝 From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome and impeccable service. The intimate setting inside this beautifully restored old bank building added a unique and romantic touch to the evening. 🏦❤️ We started with their famous homemade pasta, which was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to their dedication to authentic Italian cuisine. The pasta was perfectly cooked and paired with exquisite sauces that left us wanting more. 🍷🍴 Pro tip: for a spicy dish order the picci alla fiaccheraia 🤤. Their burrata specials are ALWAYS delicious too. The ambiance was simply enchanting – dim lighting, elegant decor, and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Whether you’re planning a special date night or just want to indulge in some fantastic Italian food, Acqua al 2 is the place to be.

Food and service were outstanding. Special with calamari, shrimp, and mussels was really great. When we arrived, our hostess was a little dippy.

The service was excellent. We had been to the Florence restaurant and enjoyed it so decided to try Annapolis. Was just as delicious.

This was our first time to Aqua al 2 and it was great. The service was excellent with perfect timing. the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the pasta sampling. We will be back again.

Took my hubby there for his birthday. It was AMAZING. We’ve been to their sister location in DC, and it was as equally delicious. I had the Bronzino and hubby had the lamb pasta dish first. Both were excellent. Extremely flavorful! We ate every bite. Then we shared our favorite dish - the Filet with a Blueberry reduction . Let me tell you - soooooo good! The steak cut like butter and melted in your mouth. We finished with excellent coffee and the Chef selection of 4 dessert tastings. We LOVED the pana cotta ( I probably did not spell that correctly). I’m not typically a fan, but I could have licked that plate clean. DELICIOUS! The cheesecake was tasty, and probably my next favorite. I was surprised by the Tiramisu. I’m not sure what type of coffee the ladyfingers were soaked in, but I wasn’t getting coffee flavor. It seemed more citrusy, which did not appeal to my palette. And the hazelnut was okay - I think probably tasty for people who like hazelnut, but not my jam. The best part about it was the crunchy crust.

The food was great, just what you’d want from an authentic Italian restaurant. The two reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars are (1) the circular booth seats are about 12-14” deep, far to narrow for me to sit in without tensing my body to hold me in place. The first time I ate here I was with friends who booked the large booth in the bar, so just had to deal with it. The second time I tried the booth where we were seated, but asked for a table after a few minutes. We had to ask twice and wait 5 minutes before someone finally came to move us. (2) The noise level is high, which made it challenging to talk with my friend.

Third time at Aqua, food is always consistent. Cocktails were unique and great. Food service was fast but didn't impact quality.
