Appalachia Restaurant brings an upscale-casual experience to an intimate setting. With stunning views and a cuisine that offers an Appalachian flair, you will be immersed with the true spirit of Lake Lure.
Dinner at the restaurant begins at 4:30pm.
We bring the Appalachian heritage from the outdoors in while dining in front of the stunning 525 million year old mountains. Inside, outside, or bar room dining, you will have a gorgeous view of Lake Lure and the Appalachian mountains. Boats Slips are first come, first serve. Due to the small volume of tables, we cannot accept preferred table/view requests.
Dress Code: No swimwear or coverups, must have shoes.

We love Appalachia for date night. The only thing better than the food is the service.

Great place all around! They were out of the wagyu steak which was #1 on my list to try but I chose the bison short rib and couldn't have been happier. Twisting my arm... ok I'll be back for the wagyu. The wedge salad was fresh! The pork belly with kimchi aioli hit all the right notes as an appetizer. My wife had the blackened shrimp and said it was incredible. We finished things off with the confetti cake. The texture took it up a notch! For an upscale casual dining experience it checks all of the boxes. You should make reservations now!

This was our first time here after buying a second home in Lake Lure. It was outstanding! Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family with us!

Dinner was amazing and the drinks/wine were superb. Wonderful atmosphere and our server Lily was attentive without being obtrusive.

Amazing as always. Atmosphere is over the top. Food (sea bass and husband had blackened shrimp) was delicious...as good or better than the fine restaurants in Charleston. Great cocktails and wine too.

We love this lodge and restaurant. The food is amazing. Never disappointed. Staff is wonderful. So courteous and very friendly. We always feel so welcomed and at home. Always a pleasure to dine here.
