The Apothecary is a unique New Orleans dining experience. While we have custom fang fittings and tarot readings on the premises , vampires also realize that mortals must eat and drink - so we have created the finest cuisine and cocktails to sate your pallet. Made with herbs and flowers from our courtyard garden, while it's not health food, our selections have medicinal properties. Come get a prescription of oysters on the half shell for your immune system - or as an aphrodisiac - hydrate with our berry coconut water (add rum for a relaxing twist) - Our lobster and crab stuffed portobello is good brain food! We got you covered!

The perfect place to get a late night bite - we are open until 2 a.m. daily! The Bloodiest Mary is a great cure for a hangover any time of day. Or rejuvenate with one of our blood bags - Fangria, a delicious sangria we import from Spain, or a Vampyre Vodka pomegranate lemonade .

We showed up and even though I had a confirmation we had not tickets or place to eat.. supposedly there was a private event that I did not get called about to purchase tickets. My group was then sent to the vampire cafe and they said they didn’t have a reservation either. Reservations are for the place on a Peter. Total confusion. I was also told they don’t accept open table. So you need to delete this place off open table if a reservation can not be made for it. We went somewhere else and made our own phone but this caused a bit of confusion at first. Please figure out what is going on so this does not happen to someone else’s group. Very disappointing.

We had a blast! The food was okay but the service and ambiance was fun-tastic! The blood bags and oyster shots were the perfect accompaniment to the 15 minute tarot reading I received. Loved the fangs and friendliness of the staff!

It’s unfortunate that the food was blasé and the tip was added on at 20% then when it was split it was added again.

Amazing staff and food. Loved the decor, and the "blood bags" were quite tasty! I recommend the brie! Would return again in a heartbeat!

Very Eclectic restaurant with a vampire theme set in the French Quarter. Food was very good.

We really loved it here, both for just having a drink and for eating. The food was outstanding and so were the cocktails! The whole idea behind the place is really interesting and quirky and the attention to detail is outstanding. It was by far our favourite place in New Orleans and we will definitely be back!

CAUTION - I was scammed at this restaurant by two servers. The purposely provided poor service, then double dipped the tip and changed my bill. When I protested they stalled more and then assured me I would not be charged the additional tip they added. My and all of my parties were over charged.

An absolutely wonderful dining experience. Everything our party ordered to eat was excellent, and the ambience is so unique and pleasing. The vampire theme attracts a younger, hipper demographic than most French Quarter restaurants. In short, it was very fun to eat at The Apothecary. I could not recommend it more highly.
