L'AOC est un restaurant préparant des petits plats à partir d'ingrédients locaux de saison. Sa cuisine française de Californie élaborée par la chef Suzanne Goin comporte également quelques influences méditerranéennes. L'établissement propose 24 vins au verre et un choix de 150 bouteilles dont la sélection unique est l’œuvre de Caroline Styne. As usual, the food was exceptional and did not disappoint. There is a large variety that can accommodate any alternate diet (Vegetarian, diet restrictions) and plenty on the menu to choose from. Explanations were given accurately by our waitress and the whole experience was delightful. I balked a little at the $50/bottle corkage fee, as we are used to bringing our own wine to dinner. 2 bottles were $100 which seems excessive. Also the 6% fee for "Employee Healthcare". I would rather have each dish 6% costlier and the healthcare incorporated into the menu prices. This is the restaurant's responsibility and should not be added as a burden to the diner. There should also be a distinction on the guest slip for food cost and "additional costs" i.e.: corkage and healthcare, so you do not inadvertently pay an additional 20 or 25% tip on these added costs. I know it is all in the work of "new restaurant guidelines" but this is also a marketing issue and I do not think it is handled properly. This being said, I will certainly come again and enjoy this wonderful restaurant.

The Spanish chicken, French fries were delicious, the Romeo salad was outstanding. Good beverage options and pretty courtyard. Friendly service. Some tables are too close together.

Loved everything except the 6% fee to the owners that they have to pay anyway for CA healthcare. So I asked to remove the 6% and gave it as additional tip to my server.

We had the BBQ experience and it was truly disappointing. The meats were dry and overcooked. The sides were cold and the corn bread was dry.

special bbq menu & the brisket was delicious. sumptuous family style meal with flavorful greens, corn, beans, cole slaw along, corn bread with bbq peach crumble for dessert.

The Annual Rib Fest was the best of the best! As noted above, the menu, the service the value are all spectacular. The quantity was more than sufficient and we are happily eating our leftovers!

The food was exquisite! Every single dish complemented the next and it was a symphony of a rib feast. The watermelon salad, grilled cornbread, fresh cole slaw, sublime long simmered beans with pork and the pork ribs and lamb ribs and hot wings were so individually spiced and delicious with the sublime beef brisket! And then! As if that wasn’t enough they served the absolute most delicious warm peach cobbler with buttermilk ice cream!! This special dinner was perfect and delicious and we left smiling and happy! Thank you!

This was a prefix experience. For $95 the amount of food was great with four types of barbecue, 6-8 side dishes and dessert. However the taste and quality just wasn’t there. I wish the pork ribs had been cooked longer as the meat was just tender but not falling off as one always dreams of, the lamb ribs were kind of gamy tasting, the brisket seasoning was OK. The hot wings were large! The St. Louis style barbecue sauce was basically tomato sauce, the salads were not well seasoned. But the beans and the dessert were tasty! My husband and I expected better food. This was our first time at the 3rd Street location; the Brentwood location has much better food.
