The perfect way to celebrate an upcoming arrival – enjoy the Baby Shower edition of Anya’s playful take on the traditional British afternoon tea. You’ll enjoy a selection of our exclusive cakes with sandwiches* and warm scones with clotted cream and preserves. Everything is served on a beautifully laid table, complete with our favourite Smiley balloons. *Please specify in booking notes if you would prefer to replace smoked salmon with additional cucumber and egg and cress sandwiches. A Baby Emergency Kit, Champagne and Chubby Cloud cakes can also be arranged at an additional cost. Please see 'Add-ons', For larger parties contact the manager for availability. Skip the queues and book your very own Ice Cream Project Blind Tasting Tea at the Anya Cafe, if you dare. Try 15 flavours of our cult scoops with wafers and sprinkles, guessing the flavours as you go with your very own tasting score card and branded Ice Cream Project pencil. The tasting will be accompanied by shortbread and a glass of lemonade or sparkling water – to cleanse your tasting palate. Bookings recommended and are available for a minimum of two people – a booking must be made for each person attending the tasting. We will accommodate walk-ins where space is available. Ingredients and allergens are available at anyahindmarch.com and in the cafe – please note one of our ice cream flavours this year contains peanuts.

Let me start by saying I love this place! However the ice cream high tea very short of their usually high standard. £90 for two please and you receive one stand with 15 small samples of I cream on and two glasses of lemonade. Very sweet idea but we would have got much more bang for our buck if we had just visited the ice cream parlour it’s self. The ice cream was already half melted when it arrived at our table and no thought had been made to keeping it chilled so we were told to eat fast. This is the opposite of what we wanted from the experience. Staff were lovely as usual but o would not recommend this certainly not at the price they charged. £50 would have been a push.

We came for the ice cream project ‘tasting’ - you try all of Anya’s 15 ice cream flavours - complete with sprinkles of all kinds and wafers - sparkling water and homemade lemonade also included It’s a really fun experience and some of the more ‘daring’ flavours were surprisingly good - Heinz Baked bean was a revelation! We are glad we went as it was a fun thing to do but… The cafe itself was tired looking and although quirky was in need of a good clean! The toilets are down some precarious stairs and if you are over 5ft5in be prepared to duck! Dress code said “Business Casual’! Not sure who the hell they think they are but that’s absolutely not warranted at this little cafe. Also off putting is that they bring the ice cream tasters from across the street (not sure how that works in the rain?) - ‘a side of london traffic fumes with your ice cream madam?’ Overall, I’d say go for the tasting but as a cafe stand alone, it’s hugely overrated and thinks far too highly of itself!

Went for the ice cream blind tasting and was amazing. Truly unique with some genuinely interesting and challenging flavours. Would recommend it to anyone who likes to experience taste sensations :)

The ice cream tasting was a lot of fun. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and friendly. The only feedback I would give is that there is a bit too much ice-cream, and it really should be served in stages rather than all at once (especially on hot days when you really do have to race to try everything before it melts!)

Anya Cafe's afternoon tea looks gorgeous and tastes great, but it's pretty overpriced. Despite the delicious food, the experience didn't feel particularly special, and the ambiance was a bit lacking. For the high price, I expected something more memorable.

I am so sorry to read this. We strive to impress at all times but it can sometimes be tricky, we are all very different and our expectations can vary hugely. We have worked hard to keep our pricing below the average in London, despite the continually rising cost of patisserie now. Feedback is essential though and I would really appreciate anything more you could tell us as to why it your visit didn't feel special. It pains me to hear that we didn't deliver and if I can, I would love to make it right. Darren

Such a brilliant experience! The ice creams are fun to try and some are really good but what made our experience even better was the staff in the cafe. Such a warm atmosphere. We felt so taken care of. Can’t recommend this enough!
