Went for Jazz Brunch with an 11:45 reservation. The server talked up the souffléd potatoes which we ordered. She came back in 5 minutes to say they were out. We each ordered soup- I ordered seafood gumbo - 13.00 for the smallest cup of gumbo I have ever seen. I also ordered a seafood omelet for 26.00. There were a few shredded of crab and two medium shrimp. No mornay sauce so the omelette was extremely dry. The eggs were extremely hard and completely overcooked. For two people (2 soups, 1 omelette and one eggs Benedict and two diet cokes), it was over 80.00. I wouldn’t complain if the food was excellent but it wasn’t. My omelette was beyond dreadful and the rest was merely average. This place is clearly coasting on its name.

My wife and had brunch at Antoine’s Saturday. We had char broiled oysters, brussel sprouts and crepes for starters - magnificent, delicious. The problem started with the seafood omelet - it was not good with eggs having plastic consistency. We should have sent the back , but did not. We struggled through a couple of bites, then moved on to the bottomless Mimosas. We were really disappointed, because our expectations were so high.
