I love this restaurant , I’ve visited there several times and always enjoyed it, I would encourage trying this place, unfortunately whilst we were there it was very quiet , I would have loved for it to have been busier. The food is excellent as is the service.

Exceptional in every way! Gorgeous food, beautiful ambience and service was spot on! I mentioned in booking online that it was daughters birthday and they presented her with a little cake with a candle and made her feel special. We will be recommending and rebooking! 5🌟

To summarise in 1 word: Wow! It was our first visit here and we will be back. We wanted something different to a usual eating out experience and this ticked all the boxes. The three of us chose different starters but you could have turned it in to a mezze for the three of us. Then on to the mains and we all went for the Chenjeh. Each comes with a side of your choice but the waiter advised to have 3 different sides and share between us. That was a great recommendation: salad, chips and jasmine rice were all great accompaniments to the main. The lamb was super tasty. It was good to see local drinks on the menu, local beers and gins were most welcome. We never made it to the sweet menu as we were happily full already. The Antler was super clean and tidy. You can see the grill where the cooking takes place. Whilst it is located near to a busy junction, you are a world away from the hustle and bustle outside. A relaxed place with friendly, attentive and efficient staff. It is easy to get to by public transport, tram stop outside. Plenty of on street parking, but if that proves a problem then there is always the Middlewood Park and Ride car park (5 to 10 minute walk) that has free parking. We will be returning soon.

We arrived at the restaurant to find it quiet with only one other table occupied. We were greeted by the chef who directed us to our table. The waiter arrived to take our drink order whilst we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. There was an accident with one of the drinks being spilt but the waiter was really apologetic. We placed our order and did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. We all ordered different items from the menu, so it was nice to see what everyone thought of their meals. The food was presented lovely with a mix of colours across all plates. I had the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. The flavours were wonderful and the food was fresh. Everyone else in the party said the same. The portion sizes were too big for us to eat and felt awful leaving some. But what was eaten there were no complaints. I would happily return and will hopefully doing so soon with my husband.

Great service, lovely fresh food, good prices. We will be returning! The sweet and sour salmon was cooked to perfection, humous and tzasiki starter were very tasty too.
