This restaurant is fantastic. Got seated immediately upon arrival at reservation time. Lovely, extremely informative waitress. Never hurried us or seemed in a rush. Began with focaccia with their duck pate; should not be missed as it was sensational. Accompanied beautifully with the stone fruit salad. Pastas were wonderful. Corn and chanterelles and squab pastas. Fantastic. Shared the sweetbreads and had the whipped potatoes with bone marrow. Had to take the cannolis we ordered for dessert home as we were so full we couldn’t finish. Even the bus people were so nice. We go out a lot and have to say that this was a very special place. May be expensive but worth every penny.

Totally lived up to the hype! Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the vibes were immaculate. And the portions are generous - we left nice and full with some leftovers for the next day!

Such a lovely experience! The caprese was so refreshing and the sweet corn pasta was unbeatable. Wine selection was also great. We’ll def be back.

Every time we gather to have a meal at Antico Nuovo It is an experience to remember. The dishes reflect the love, the craft, and the attention to detail without pretense. Thank you for the delicious experience. Joyful

Food was great as usual. But the service was lacking, especially considering the prices. They lacked attention and seemed to dismiss our needs and were a bit snarky regarding our concerns and requests. I was not pleased with the way we were treated. We’ve been to the restaurant many times and never had this issue. Hoping it was just a one off.

Great prompt friendly service!!! Food was exceptional! Pastas, especially the corn ravioli, focaccia, whipped ricotta & pistachio, grilled chicken, honeycomb ice cream were all SUPERB! We will be coming back the next time we are in LA.

Delicious. Had a table at the counter, but arrived a little early and were given the best table in the house as long as we could make it out by the time they needed it. Fabulous experience, great staff, delicious food.

Great food. Had the focaccia with whipped ricotta (as good as they say!!!), the parpadelle. Husband had the lamb. All were delicious and the bread was some of the best I’ve ever had. Enjoyed it twice by trying the focaccia ice cream for dessert. Lovely sweet/salty treat with a unique flavor and texture. Very friendly and attentive staff. The music was a little loud at first but they turned it down a bit later in the evening. We came right at opening with a reservation on a Friday night and it wasn’t too crowded. A lovely casual birthday dinner for my husband (who is very lovely and casual himself).

Overall a wonderful experience, definitely worth a visit and will be coming back to try more pasta. I honestly wasn’t expecting the most memorable dishes being the focaccia and the whipped ricotta with pistachio pesto but we’re still talking about how great it was. The open kitchen added to the rustic yet modern ambience tied it all together for a real homie vibe that tied it all together for a great night.
