Wow! We have not been to Anthony's since before the Covid onslaught, and even if the prices have increased since then the quality of food and service has remained the same, perhaps even improving! Our server David was the epitome of delight -- he was attentive to our needs, respectful of the differing speeds between my wife and me (she always finishes a course before I do), and seemed to be enjoying immensely what he was doing. The caesar salad was about the best I have ever had -- the light dressing and parmesan cheese were in excellent balance. The prawns were cooked perfectly, retaining the firmness that made them a pleasure to eat. Likewise, the accompanying pilaf, green beans, and roasted corn set off the prawns superbly. And what can be said about the burnt cream? What a way to finish the meal!

Oiled used to fry fish and chips was quite old, resulting in very dark fried fish. Fries were over salted. Clam chowder was tasty but not hot at all. Mahi Mahi tacos were soggy.

Outstanding service and the food was delicious! I had the Alaska Weathervane Scallops and my husband had the Seafood Fettuccine. The scallops are plated with green beans and mini corn kernels (so delectable) and Almond Rice Pilaf. We each had a dessert which was fabulous as well. Server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Went for brunch today. The food was awful. I had the San Juan scramble which was dry, the potatoes tasted like the cooking oil was rancid, the bacon undercooked and so salty that I couldn't eat it. Hubby had salmon. It was a very small serving. Again the potatoes were rancid tasting. This is the 3rd time that we have been here and won't be back.The waiter was good.

Crab should have not been soaked every-time we cracked it. Was so bad we couldn’t even get out all you can eat worth cause it was literally spraying everywhere and soaking us

Unfortunately they did t have any fresh oysters where two other restaurants in the area did. Very disappointed.

First time dining here. Food was disappointing and overpriced, service was good, but our table with the view of the harbour was amazing!

Our group had the Dungeness crab all you can eat and appetizers and a pasta salmon dish. The crabs were large and delicious. Choose steamed or chilled (both are great.) coconut shrimp app was so good, calamari was small and a bit too much breading/herb seasoning. The pasta dish was delic too.

We had lunch here this past Thursday. Three of us ordered rockfish tacos, which were so full of liquid that the tortillas were already soggy when they reached the table. When picked up, the tacos dumped massive amounts of this liquid on to our plates and laps. There was a ridiculously small amount of accompanying tortilla chips - about 5-6 chips, way less than the amount we received in previous visits to this and Anthony’s other locations. Portion sizes were also inconsistent - We ordered two calamari starters (consumed one and then ordered a second) and the first order had a lot less calamari than the second. Finally, the two pieces of my fish for my fish and chips were tiny and stumpy and were much smaller than the order brought to a nearby table. We order this regularly at your various locations and have never seen them like this. We had a good server and advised him about the wet tacos and he seemed surprised. We waited a long time for our disappointing food, which made no sense as the restaurant barely had any other customers. Give what we paid, I feel ripped off. We love Anthony's but will not be returning to this Squalicum Harbor location.
