Welcome to Anthony's Hearthfire Grill in Olympia! Built on pilings extending over Budd Inlet, our restaurant hosts a stunning, unobstructed view of the South Puget Sound. Our menu features premier Northwest designer beef and fresh Northwest seafood, paired with local produce, wines and microbrews.     We thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory dinner. The corn and crab chowder was delicious and the steak cooked perfectly. The restaurant was busy, but Chris, our server, was attentive and responsive. This was our first time visiting the restaurant, but we will be back.

    On Saturday Sept 12th my husband and I went to dinner Anthony's Hearth Fire Grill located on water. I had made reservations but as we entered, i notice several young people dressed in formals and guessed it was Prom night, and I thought, oh no this is going to be loud, and we may have trouble with our service. We did have to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation time. After we were seated, a man came up to us and introduced himself as the Manager and apologized for our wait. He said he would take care of desert for the two of us. The server then came and took our order. We both ordered the fresh, wild Salmon. The food was very good, the bread was hot, right out of the oven and we also had very good Ceaser salad. For dessert we had huckleberry ice cream. Really Yummy. Our Server was friendly and courteous. It was a beautiful evening.

    I really wanted to like this place so We gave this a second chance and came back in hopes for a redemption. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t a great experience so I’ll get straight to it: - We received apps before drinks. Had to wait a bit for our drink order. - Our Double R ribeyes had no flavor and were over cooked. So we had to ask for A1 sauce. We waited for a good 10 min just trying to get our waiters attention. - we also had quite a long wait when trying to ask for go boxes. An employee bussing tables near us saw that we were waiting for a while so she asked to assist us.

    Service was extremely slow. We were there 3 hours. My back was hurting so bad, couldn’t enjoy. Home using heating pad now. Had waiter before. Good. Food delicious. Don’t know why so slow.

    The food is good, consistently good. A well rounded menu with something for everyone including a seasonal desert menu and delicious cocktails. The service is excellent; friendly but not overly in your face . There is no rush to order and they are gracious if you linger just a little longer after your meal. The ambience and the view of Budd Inlet is captivating. It doesn’t matter if it’s sunny day or it’s stormy outside the view is perfect . There is plenty of parking and the landscaping leading to the entry is well groomed and alway worth a second look on your way out .

    Amazing experience! Food was phenomenal ! The appetizer was the best part - we got the shrimp and crab dip. The server gave great recommendations on drinks and let us just relax and eat our food. The service was amazing!
