Hubby and I went to Anthony's for our Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. We ate in the upstairs dining area, and we loved the rustic atmosphere, with its old stone walls and the wall of wine bottles. The calamari was probably the best we've ever had, if not the best. My husband's salmon was perfect, and I had the filet mignon. I was a little worried that ordering filet mignon from an Italian restaurant instead of a steak house might not be wise. I had nothing to worry about. It was excellent! Perfectly cooked to medium rare, as I requested, and topped with a delicious mushrooms sauce. Our only complaint was that we were too full to finish it there. But not to worry, we boxed up the leftovers, and are looking forward to enjoying them again at home! Love this place.

Admittedly, it was Valentine’s Day, but our drinks took quite a while to arrive, immediately after they arrived the salad arrived, and even before we got to start the salad, the entrée arrived. We felt rushed.. We’ve eaten at this establishment many times and never experienced this before. it was not our waitress Jackie‘s fault. Obviously the kitchen was pushing her. She was extremely apologetic.

Food was great as always and the service has been always attentive and professional. This is a favorite date night spot for us and has been for years. I am guilty of often ordering the same thing and it's just because it is consistently so great. I highly recommend Anthony's and I feel it is one of the hidden gems in any of the Philly suburbs.

We have dined here before and enjoyed it here. I am in the industry and understand issue that come up in our prodession. This time was different. I understand being busy, but the reservation system is in place for a reason. Not sure if they were just over seating last night or if there was another reason, but we were the only party that had this issue and as other party’s in-front of us also walked out deciding on not waiting longer we did as well. Arrived 10 mins early for our reservation and waiting to check in which took 10 minutes. Finally waiting for another 25 minutes or more before we decided to leave. We witnessed at least 2 parties before us decide to do the same. It’s a shame as we like the food here. We will try again hoping this was a fluke night.

Nobody gets 5 stars… EXCEPT ANTHONY’S!!! Clean sweep! The food is fantastic, the service is outstanding, and you cannot find a better value in Chester County! We love sitting at the bar for drinks before dinner and they have great mixed drinks! They have a fantastic selection of wine and some exclusive. But the food is delicious! Our server, Alfredo, made some really great suggestions and he was so professional, prompt and friendly. Can’t wait to get back!

Delicious food! Liked the atmosphere upstairs. Was tastefully decorated, toasty warm, and quiet!
