I have often recommended Anteprimo to friends and acquaintances alike. Armondo has given us great service for years. The food is reliably great.

Aye here before the Andersonville Midsommarfest Lovely and nice and warm on the patio too thanks to heaters We shared many dishes trout beet salad zucchini flowers and fig and prosciutto Delicious

My wife an I had 6 pm Friday night reservations on Midsummer Fest opening night. We were going to see 16 Candles at 8 p, We ordered a Manhattan and a beer for starters. The Italian Manhattan was excellent and I enjoyed the beer. We then had an asparagus salad and burrata for appetizers. Both were excellent and priced at $12. I would have liked a larger portion of asparagus maybe priced at $15. We ordered the sliced steak and a mushroom pasta for dinner. They brought out the wrong pasta which I didn't notice and then brought out the correct pasta, letting me keep both. Nice touch. Our server told us that the kitchen was backed up but we did not notice anything wrong with the pacing of the meal. We also had the special Barolo wine which was a steal at $78. We finished our meal splitting the strawberry rhubarb which was easily filling for two. We spent about 90 minutes for dinner. We sat in the beautiful outside patio. I like that you are allowed to reserve outside seating. Sitting inside is cramped and the patio is a great space. Anteprima is sometimes called a hidden gem but judging by the size of the crowd it is not hidden from too many people. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our bill was around $200 which I consider quite reasonable for 2 drinks, a bottle of win, two apps, a pasta and an entree. Don't forget to order the bread and breadstick service.

The food was very good. But we were rushed through out the meal. Order now, food came very fast and were a little to quick to clear the plates. It was also not full. Not sure if we will be coming back which is sad, because we try and stop in when we are in town. Disappointed

We were greeted without kindness. Hostess seemed put off by our arrival and request for seating. We had a reservation. Waiter delivered wrong dish. He hovered. Bus staff spoke in Spanish poorly of customers. We speak Spanish. Best was the beet salad and crusted tuna. Pasta dishes were bland.

This gem in Andersonville is consistently great in their food and service. Some real creativity in their regular menu, always special specials and a very good wine list. Despite having their patio wiped out by heavy rains they still managed to accommodate all their reservations without anyone waiting. Highly recommended.
