Le restaurant Ankor vous invite à vivre une expérience gastronomique raffinée dans un ambiance décontracté. Avec une vision d'une cuisine canadienne contemporaine durable comme objectif principal, ils offrent une carte de vins et de bières ainsi qu'une sélection de cocktails choisie avec soin et de menus saisonniers à harmoniser avec une gamme de mets de votre choix.

Raffiné mais accessible, notre lieu célèbre la richesse du terroir canadien.

Nous nous engageons à minimiser notre empreinte écologique au cours de nos opérations quotidiennes, c'est pour cela que nous achetons la majorité de nos produits ici en Alberta surtout. Cependant, au besoin, nous mettrons fièrement en valeur les producteurs canadiens plutôt que les producteurs internationaux pour nous assurer que notre artisanat soutient nos valeurs.

March 12, 2025 We will be only offering our 6 courses tasting menu on this evening, our regular "À la carte" options will NOT be available. The menu will feature 6 courses, 5 savory and 1 sweet, rotating from our staple dishes. ** If you wish to know more right away please contact us via Email or Phone** ** ALLERGIES ** Please confirm as a note on your reservation, our host will also call and confirm with everyone to make sure we can cater to your diet / restrictions ** CANCELATION ** Groups up to 4 will be charged 25$ per person for canceling within 24 hours. Groups of 5 to 7 will be charged 25$ per person for canceling within 72 hours. Groups of 8 or more will be charged 400$ per person for canceling within 72 hours.

Amazing meal. The entire team was very accommodating to our requests for our anniversary. Highly recommend going. A true gem of a restaurant.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars, they were so close. We went there for our wedding anniversary, they took the time to write a card for us which was very thoughtful. The service started really well, took a bit to put the order in (the person who took our order was the same person who was making the drinks for everyone, so maybe not a good idea?) The drinks were delicious, food was excellent, that's why we decided to get a 3rd main course. At no point during the evening we were told that our table was held just for 2 hours. That's why I'm taking 2 stars, because the overall experience was ruined right at the end. We understand it's a small restaurant and they need to change the table, but please inform your customers way in advance, not when it's time to order dessert! If at any point during the evening, your staff could have informed us (especially while we were still eating our main and mentioned we're looking forward to dessert, something should have been said. Takes me back to the fact that the bartender shouldn't be the one taking our order (he did a great job, but he's making drinks for everyone, so it makes sense he's running out of time). There were 2 other tables that had the 6 o'clock reservation, that were still eating and drinking when we left, so how come they got more than 2 hours? It felt like you were ''kicking us out''! Not too mention there were 5 seats available when we left! We came from out of town, just to enjoy your restaurant (which we did for a while), and celebrate our anniversary (no other couples had a card on the table, so I assume we were the only ones celebrating something) and right at the end, everything changed. The bartender was apologetic and brought 2 chocolates from the back (maybe don't mention it as a favour) I was really debating if I should write or not this review, but because of the way the night ended, I think, they can learn from this mistake and try to do better for other customers.

It’s was a wonderful experience and a great place for our birthday celebration! The staffs are so welcoming and patient, very knowledgeable about the dishes and the sources of the ingredients. Highly recommended to try the wine pairing. It offers a beautiful balance between the dished and the wine, very wise selections. Top customers services!

The restaurant was very personable. Not too many tables, which made it feel special. I loved the playful apple liquor spray (like the waitress spraying a perfume) on whichever course I had. It was all so amazing I can’t recall the dish. The suggested wine pairing was perfect. I can’t say enough. Loved it. You should go! An experience you will always remember.

This isn’t an extraordinary restaurant. Every dish was exquisite, the plating an architectural marvel and the wait staff knowledgeable.

This is the best restaurant in Canmore, and a top 10% of world wide restaurants in my experience. The tasting menu left us satisfied and thrilled with the incredible combinations of flavor, texture and creativity. Presentation was top shelf. The entire staff coordinates to make service attentive without being overbearing. The place has a casual upscale feel; comfortable but elevated. Do not miss this place if you love eating well. This place is doing everything right.

What a gem! Amazing food, hostess, waiters and chef. We always try the discovery menu and it never disappoints. Wine selection is outstanding.
