Anima, meaning ‘soul' in Italian, speaks true to the dishes prepared, as a tastement of the emotionality of food and the importance of interaction with guests. It is for that reason that the kitchen is open-fronted and screened with ambered glass, so all can admire the chefs work. Anima opens to a charming courtyard for outdoor dining, a lush oasis with over 400 flourishing plants, climbing vines, teak benches, and Italian-style lanterns, evoking a Roman garden vibe. The menus at Anima showcase a blend of classics reinvented with a modern flair, drawing inspiration from Italy's celebrated array of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients

The Rome EDITION propone l’inedita formula “gelato & wine”, che consiste nell'abbinamento di tre gusti a tre vini accuratamente selezionati dalla cantina di Anima. Albicocca e pinoli viene proposto in abbinamento al Passito di Pantelleria “Ben Rye”, della cantina siciliana Donna Fugata, mentre il sorbetto al Limone trova la sua massima espressione con il vino Franciacorta. Il terzo gusto - Parmigiano by Ciampini -, creato in esclusiva con l’omonima gelateria, è accompagnato dal vino dolce “Muffato della Sala”, prodotto dall'illustre casa vinicola Antinori.

The staff were great and the food amazing. We receive two special treats from the chef. Totally recommend this place.

We had a small group dinner to celebrate various things and our waitress took great care of us, the restaurant was away from touristy areas which made it quiet, and the food was prepared with care!

Above all expectations. Amazing service, excellent dishes, very good vibe. Enormous thanks to Christian, Margherita, Antonio and everyone in the kitchen

Nice new place with a pleasant dehors. Food and service were good, sometimes very good (ex Fusilloni with rabit and fennel ragout, steamed sea bass). They're just not very flexible with the menu or extra requests (it was not possible to order a freshly squeezed vegetables extract and it seems many dishes are prepared well in advance so they can't really change them, if you have any allergy your choiche might be limited; in my case the scapece zucchini were full of vinegar). The manager was very kind. The rooftop bar was wondeful.
