Anima is for everybody. It is a place where you'll be able to meet friends for coffee, wine, or cocktails and some food — all of that within the sound experience. You'll be able to listen to a wide range of music on our customized Hi-Fi sound system built by our friend "H.A.N.D.hifi", based in Berlin. (Our mixer was also built here in Berlin by a company called "Resor"; it was important for us to work with locals for this process).

I mean what can I say , the best of the best. The ambience was perfect , music always on point and my favorite part is that the service is just 👌🏼

Leider schlechter Service obwohl nicht viel los war. Drinks waren ok aber Frozen Margarita ohne Salz… no go for me.

A perfect dining experience to catch up with friends. A unique menu selection, perfect for sharing, we tried it all including the cocktails! Friendly and professional service, perfectly matched with the casual and tasteful ambiance of background music.

First, they couldn’t find my reservation. Then sent me to a table with a larger group of people but I made the reservation for one. I sat at a table of my choice and then they moved me somewhere else with a nicer view of the balcony but the place was way louder. I ordered my wine: they don’t have it. They offered a different wine to taste and I enjoyed. Then I was ready to order three items from the menu, but they ran out of one and the ingredients of the other item. I proceeded to select the steak cuts. The waitress brings me a tartar. I mentioned the mistake and they give me some nuts and olives as a side. Finally the portion I ordered arrived but too small for my liking. I contemplated ordering a burrata but due to all the mistakes and bad experience I had I just asked for the bill. The first time it came, they had included the tartar which I did not consume. So I had to wait a bit longer until they corrected it. I got a discount and recognize the waitress did her best, but I can’t understand why there was this succession of mistakes. The restaurant didn’t look that full and most people were ordering cocktails. Besides, it was a Thursday night and it was pouring rain outside, so even if other people were to arrive, another table with 10 people can’t justify a kitchen so busy and the mismanagement. I usually give all places a second chance but I wouldn’t come back here unless it’s with a larger group of people which it seems like the only clientele they care about.

Sehr schönes restauraunt, eher teuer, bestimmte Gerichte wahren hervorragend wie der burratta und das brot andere eher durchschnittlich, schneller und freundlicher service, insgesamt sehr schön

I would definitely recommend this place - cocktails were amazing - especially the cheesecake. Atmosphere - Outstanding. Food was also quite tasty. The staff was amazing, especially the girl from Chile (*did not catch her name) - she ensured our dining and drinking experience was extra special.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit jedoch war es schade, keine Alternative ohne Garlic zu bekommen.

Exceptionally delicious food. The sizes of the meals were perfect. The service was absolutely great. The music was a bit loud but that didn’t affect my experience negatively. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Berlin. Thank you for such a nice evening!

I usually don't write reviews, but this time there are some points which should be objectively shared. I booked the table ten days before, just to be sure to find one available, and once arrived at Anima we discover that our table was settled before the reception, and so between the hotel and the restaurant. This mean we didn't heard anything except the conversation we had, being in a listening bar would mean expect to listen the live music and this is was exactly what moves us to book there instead of another place. We had a little misunderstanding with the waiter about the wine, but the fault was mutual so I prefer to not focus on this. Well, about the food, a disaster. Just two main plates, octopus (served in a bowl so difficult to eat) and the steak which wasn't a real steak but just sliced meat really hard to eat (so I guess the quality was very low), no vegetarian option (just a vegan one, a cabbage with parmesan on top so nothing special) . The prices are in line comparing with similar venues. I would no recommend Anima for a dinner, maybe just for a drink to enjoy the view from the terrace.
