Top notch food and service. Although fairly quiet with numbers to begin with, the pub got busier but the staff coped just fine. Food was served promptly and obviously freshly cooked. Excellent and tasty complete with a change to the vegetables by me. Thoroughly recommended.

The food on the lunch menu was very small in portion size and in our tables opinion did not meet what you would expect from dishes costing £11 (one poached egg on a tiny slice of sourdough) and an unseasoned/dressed crispy beef salad for £16.50 which consisted of lettuce leaves only. It was actually dissapointing, we had to order extra bread and a portion of chips to add to our meals which otherwise were not sufficient. The service however was great.

We had a fantastic meal at the Anglesey Arms yesterday. It’s becoming a favourite because the staff are lovely and the standard of food very consistent. Yesterday I had the curry and it was honestly one of the best ever.

H This is a real oub with good dining. We were lucky enough to go on a Wednesday and they have a special 2 course menu foe £20..00 and £10,00 off any bottle of wine. It was essentially dishes on the main menu so made for a very reasonable priced dinner. If I was in the area I would definitely go back.

Very pretty little pub with great outdoor area. Food was tasty - I had the burger and my husband had a steak. Nicely presented but very small portions. Pudding again was small - morello cherries with coconut ice cream and begian waffle. For £8 I would have expected a whole waffle but instead got two pieces at the bottom of a sundae glass. I would also add that just as we started to started to eat

We had a great and relaxing meal. We were well attended to by staff, but never rushed. Our food was wonderful, as was the wine. Many thanks team Lisa x
