Angler is a seafood-focused Saison Hospitality Group restaurant with one Michelin star on the Embarcadero waterfront, featuring views of our expansive wood burning hearth and the San Francisco Bay, where each dish is touched by fire and intended to be shared.

Our sourcing is deliberate and our menus closely follow the seasons of Northern California.

    This prix-fixe menu evolves daily and is curated especially for you by our culinary team upon your arrival. The menu is designed to be shared, highlighting both Angler classics and our latest seasonal dishes. This experience is $145 per person, exclusive of sales tax, service fee, & SF mandate. We kindly request 48 hours of advance notice to try and accommodate dietary restrictions, or to craft a vegetarian or vegan menu. Due to the nature of our culinary processes, we are unable to provide a fully gluten-free menu nor omit trace amounts of mushrooms or alliums.

    Very innovative cuisine, just amazing! Four out of five dishes were best ever, just incredible how they operate at such level! The staff is very welcoming, great atmosphere for these special moments. Highly recommend!

    This was my first time at Angler, and hosted a dinner for seven work colleagues to celebrate one's promotion. Without question, Angler has to be one of the best restaurants in the City.   The inventive preparations are simply delicious and unlike other restaurants but not in a weird or fussy way. For example, the oysters are served with a seaweed vinaigrette so delectable that I was tempted to drink it. Another highlight was the sommelier who recommended great wines in exactly the price range I requested. No upsell or pressure, and he selected wonderful wines that I will probably waste the afternoon searching for. Simply a great experience, and I cannot wait to return.

    I had requested the main dining room with my reservation, yet we were put in the game room in back not near windows, which is not a pleasurable experience. The main dining room has a much better ambiance. Disappointed.

    What a lovely lunch and a wonderful value for the prix fixe Everything we an ate was delicious-sea bream and chicken for mains. Cocktails were inventive and light -if a little on the sweet side. Desserts were both amazing. Expected that for the sundae, but was delightfully surprised by the coconut lime ice cream. Great view and cool vibe.
