The bar service was pretty slow. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks twice. Once being told the bar was backed up as if an influx of new guests had walked in but that wasn’t the case. The music inside was a little loud and would randomly stop for a few minutes. The lights are too bright. Kind of kills the vibe. Dim those down as the sun sets. Other wise, nice staff, little pricey, and a little unorganized but they are new. I’d give them another try.

We had reservations for 6 o’clock on Saturday night and were seated promptly. This was our first time at this restaurant so we decided to try a few of their craft beers they have 4 oz tasters for 2 dollars each and then decided on our favorite to go along with three of the appetizers/small plates to get a feel for their creative menu. We started with the pear, prosciutto and burrata salad, the figs with chorizo and a balsamic glaze drizzle and mussels with garlic butter and wine. All three were excellent with great flavor. The staff was very attentive and provided excellent service. I look forward to returning and trying many of the other items on the menu.

I dined on the dog friendly patio (with my dog, of course!) and enjoyed people watching during dinner. I selected a cocktail called the naked and famous, a tequila based, margarita-esque drink and I went with a vegetarian dish called the Beluga lentil bolognese which was an angel hair pasta dish with, of course, a lentil bolognese. No Beluga whales were harmed during this dinner. The service could not have been any better, the entire staff was friendly and ready to assist as needed, above and beyond!

What a fantastic experience last night at Angel’s Share! We had 5:00 reservations, the first seating, so sat at a comfy table inside but right next to the window. Richard, the alcohol “tour guide”, gave us a very friendly greeting upon arrival. He proceeded to tell us all about the whiskey selection, asked what we liked, and then recommended the cocktails he thought we would enjoy. My husband and I started off with The Brotherhood, a very layered cocktail I can’t even begin to explain, not being an expert in this area. However, he nailed it! My brother in law enjoyed his Old Fashion. We did have a second cocktail, mine was a Manhattan with a strawberry flavor. My husband had a fun sweet cocktail served in a pig with a chocolate straw. The food perfectly complimented the drinks. We had fried clams and chips, the most delicious fried goat cheese balls, and the Eliote street corn special, so good! I am looking forward to our next visit! FYI, look on the InKind app and get a nice discount!

We went there for lunch & I was super impressed with this place. Started with the Blood Orange chicken wings. (The only complaint on these is that some of the pieces were too big). It would be much easier to eat with smaller wings. The larger ones were too messy and hard to eat. But the flavor was out of this world. Next we had the goat cheese balls. TO DIE FOR! Ask for extra hot honey drizzle though! Then we had the mushroom pastels and ended with the pork belly sammy. Great food and service (and I am a Long Beach foodie). I’ve ate at every restaurant in this city and can’t wait to go back for dinner next week to try multiple things on their menu!

The menu looks promising but doesn’t deliver on flavor. We had the panzanella which was mostly bread, good bread but way too much. I’ve had this dish elsewhere and there was an actual salad with the bread. The short rib was chewy and lacked flavor. My cocktail was okay. I hope this place will improve as won’t maintain a following if not.

Great food and drinks, loved it. We had some non whiskey drinkers and the other drinks on the specialty menu were very good too.

First time here, we chose it for Father's Day brunch. Food is fantastic, great service and quite a lengthy list of beers and whiskies.
