What a fantastic experience last night at Angel’s Share! We had 5:00 reservations, the first seating, so sat at a comfy table inside but right next to the window. Richard, the alcohol “tour guide”, gave us a very friendly greeting upon arrival. He proceeded to tell us all about the whiskey selection, asked what we liked, and then recommended the cocktails he thought we would enjoy. My husband and I started off with The Brotherhood, a very layered cocktail I can’t even begin to explain, not being an expert in this area. However, he nailed it! My brother in law enjoyed his Old Fashion. We did have a second cocktail, mine was a Manhattan with a strawberry flavor. My husband had a fun sweet cocktail served in a pig with a chocolate straw. The food perfectly complimented the drinks. We had fried clams and chips, the most delicious fried goat cheese balls, and the Eliote street corn special, so good! I am looking forward to our next visit! FYI, look on the InKind app and get a nice discount!

We went there for lunch & I was super impressed with this place. Started with the Blood Orange chicken wings. (The only complaint on these is that some of the pieces were too big). It would be much easier to eat with smaller wings. The larger ones were too messy and hard to eat. But the flavor was out of this world. Next we had the goat cheese balls. TO DIE FOR! Ask for extra hot honey drizzle though! Then we had the mushroom pastels and ended with the pork belly sammy. Great food and service (and I am a Long Beach foodie). I’ve ate at every restaurant in this city and can’t wait to go back for dinner next week to try multiple things on their menu!

The menu looks promising but doesn’t deliver on flavor. We had the panzanella which was mostly bread, good bread but way too much. I’ve had this dish elsewhere and there was an actual salad with the bread. The short rib was chewy and lacked flavor. My cocktail was okay. I hope this place will improve as won’t maintain a following if not.

First time here, we chose it for Father's Day brunch. Food is fantastic, great service and quite a lengthy list of beers and whiskies.

The drinks were overly sweet with to many ingredients and the food lacks flavor although presented well.

The description on Angel's Share website says it all: 'Immerse yourself into tradition, craftsmanship, culture, and diversity with every sip and bite on 2nd street in Long Beach. Discover a reflection of your unique self through our superbly concocted beverages and curated menu." Drinks are amazing. It was so much fun trying two of the drinks. I love that the small plates menu has many, many options. While the menu says 'small,' the amount didn't seem to be small. The amount was more than 'small.' The food is delicious.

Went to Angels share tonight and had a fun time. For drinks we had the Angel Club (very classy, I’m not usually one for egg whites in my drink but this worked so well), Angel 75 (loved this one, it was a bit tangy but paired well with the food) and the Smooth Operator (gf loved it, a bit on the sweeter side but smooooooooth). Although we didn’t try it yet, there are some upscale/unique cocktails for two (or one) that are pricier but meant to be a more “instagramable” experience. For food we just went with some small plates. The Goat Cheese balls were amazing, the cauliflower was so flavorful (do you guys know how hard it is to make cauliflower taste amazing???), the prawns were perfectly cooked and juicy but the figs with chorizo fell a bit short. I personally think it was just an issue of the figs not being sweeter and lost in the strong flavor and heat of the chorizo. And oh yeah, fries. Love the shoestring fries. Well seasoned and served with ketchup and a mustardy aioli. There is an extensive beer and whiskey menu. The whiskeys trend more towards the mid range in price and there is a lot to choose from. I am looking forward to the whiskey flights that are being designed. I want to sample a lot of different things. All in all I like the direction they are headed in and will return.

Excellent creative food with a supreme list of whiskeys. The fired goat cheese balls were amazing! Service was attentive and we were treated to complimentary champagne since we were there for our anniversary.
