Went on Mother’s Day. Not a good experience. The vodka gimlet was awful. They couldn’t be bothers to cut the tails off of the hotsy totsy shrimp. They just threw bad shrimp in the sauce. Filet mignon tasted charred and smoky. The pork chop was from shop rite with some onions and potatoes thrown on top. Overall not good at all. Very disappointing

We love Angelos. It is a neighborhood gem and a great local spot. Cocktails are delicious ( great dirty martini). Wine is fairly priced. Steaks are delicious!!!

My husband and I bother ordered steak. I ordered the ribeye ($42) and he ordered a 30 ounce something ($50). I ordered first and the waiter asked only my husband what side he wanted. I then asked if the sides were included and was told only for his because he ordered steak. I said that ribeye is a steak too and he said mine didn't come with a side. So my husband ordered broccoli rabe. We later saw a charge for $11.95 on our bill. The server had either made an error or outright lied to inflate the bill. In either case, I explained we had been given the wrong information. He simply reiterated that the sides were extra and went to run the credit card. I have two issues with this: 1) At $50 an entree, there should be something else on the plate or an included side. 2) Always, always tell the truth, especially when the diner asks for clarification. While the steak was flavored well and very tasty, As it turned out, my ribeye was extremely fatty--at least a third of the meat was fat. I didn't expect this from a steakhouse. Also, we had a lot of attention in the beginning of our visit and up until the entrees were served but then all of it vanished once our plates were taken. We waited 15 minutes before the promised dessert tray was brought over and another 10 or 15 minutes to decline multiple requests to order coffee and to say we were not having dessert. We had 3 very positive past experiences at Angelo's Steakhouse but hadn't been back since the fall. As a result of this negative experience, unfortunately, I don't believe we will return in the future.

Got there early on a Sunday with my wife and 2 small kids. We had then porterhouse for 2, garlic mash, broccoli rob, penne vodka w shrimp, and the lasagna. I wanted to love the place, but they fell short on the flavor of the food. We all liked our meal, but all agreed it fell short on the seasoning. They were just opening, so it’s possible they gave us mash and lasagna from the day before and it was good but wasn’t great. I do plan on going back to give it another go. The service was great and the dining room comfy. Not a bad experience. Worth a meal to try them out.

We’ve been here a few times before. It was a Tuesday night, so we were the only ones there. The food options were great, and was almost made well, and tasted good. Our servers were excellent, very attentive.

Angelos is our favorite steakhouse. It never disappoints! The food and service can’t be beat. It is a local gem and I’m so glad it’s in our neighborhood!
