At our restaurant, you’ll experience food prepared according to Old World traditions straight from the heart of Italy – the birthplace of our founder, Angelo Elia. Born in Salerno, Italy, Angelo was first taught to cook by his mother in their home kitchen. Both of his parents (his father was a local butcher) instilled in him the importance of using only locally gathered meats and fish, growing garden-fresh herbs, and baking breads from scratch. Angelo hand-selects the freshest, seasonal ingredients and artfully prepares them in an inviting setting of warmth and sophistication. A carefully curated list of wines has been masterfully chosen to create an extensive wine list from every region around the world. Whether it’s for an elegant night out or a gathering with family & friends, Chef Angelo Elia looks forward to inviting guests for an authentic Italian Tuscan-style meal in a setting that feels like home.

Amazing ambiance and food. The culinary experience and music during dinner made for a great start to the evening. Will be visiting every time I’m in Aspen.

Server Alessandro was top notch. Took great care of us. One dish came out undercooked and he caught it and returned it to the kitchen, which was great but caused an imbalance in our dining. The restaurant made it right and gave us some extras but it was a hiccup in our experience that kept it from 5 stars. Alessandro was 10 stars and our sommelier was also very helpful. Food from starters to mains to desserts was delicious. New restaurant design/layout is pretty crowded and gets loud when full. Music too loud and pop hits seemed off brand and was annoying. It was very warm.

Food good if not a little pricey. Whilst one can be forgiven for really wanting opening night to be a success, unfortunately the team at Angelo’s took this too far. There were at least 15 waiters and waitresses, three managers, chef were serving food at tables and no consistency in who was serving who or responsible for what. We were asked how everything was at least 10 times, two or three times OK, but 10 is excessive by anyone’s standards. Starters were cleared and within 60 seconds our mains were placed in front of us. We didn’t have chance to breathe on multiple levels and were in and out in 45 minutes. Felt rushed rather than efficient.

In a word its terrific. This was our first visit since the location changed ownership. The food was delicious, but the real difference was the service. Not only the waitstaff, but the busstaff was incredibly attentive and a pleasure. The manager truly managed and was a very gracious hostess. Angelo is a must visit. BRAVO!

We thought Angelo”s was just terrific! The food is phenomenal and so beautifully presented and the setting so well redesigned! Pricey but worth it!

We had two birthdays that I told the restaurant about that we’re not acknowledged The food was good but the prices even for aspen were astronomical. The wine person was great
