I was visiting family in Westchester and I was looking for a place that had outdoor seating and served over brick pizzas. After a quick google maps search I came across Angelina’s. I checked out their menu on their website and their site navigated me to OpenTable for a reservation. I made a 4:15 reservation and me and my 2 siblings showed up on time (even though they have a 15 min grace period.) Once we arrived, we were told the outdoor tables weren’t set up yet and it would be just a couple minutes. After waiting almost 30 minutes, without an update, we decided to inquire again, only to be told to go ahead and sit at any of the tables outside (to which by this time had only a white tablecloth covering them, no glasses, etc). My siblings went ahead and sat down but I waited at the top of the stairs to make sure someone was aware that we had sat down. To which our waitress apologized for the delay and pointed out they are in the middle of renovations. At that point I understood, as I also work in the restaurant hospitality business. After that rough start everything went smoothly! For drinks, I ordered a red sangria (good but had better; to be honest being this was a real authentic Italian restaurant I should have ordered a nice glass of red wine). My brother ordered a French Martini, both my sister and I took a sip and it was fantastic! For appetizers we had calamari (very good!). As far as entrees, my sister had the chicken parm dinner with the pasta (she said it was very good, I’m sure she would have finished had she stopped talking so much haha). My brother and I both had a personal size oven brick pizza. Exactly what I was craving! We both ate our entire pizza! Our server, and bussers were very polite and attentive. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the 30 minute wait for the outdoor seating not being set up in the beginning. So overall it was a pleasant time, food on point, and will definitely return again!
