We visited the Angel on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly waiter called Jack. We had the Sunday roast. I had the beef and my husband had the trio of meat roast. The food came quickly and tasted delicious. We then both had apple crumble with custard for dessert. All the food we had was lovely. Our waiter Jack was very attentive ensuring we were ok. We will definitely be back soon for another meal.

We were told what wasn't available to start with. Then when ordering was suddenly told that there was more things unavailable! Some food was cold and microwaved not freshly made. Only one waiter working who because he was busy kept forgetting things. There was no gap between starters and mains which made us feel we were rushed! The quality of the food did not match the price. Unfortunately we won't be going back!

Food was very good but needed to be warmer - both frittata and chips were lukewarm.

Great experience as always in The Angel (Kelvedon). Food was excellent and attention to customer impeccable. Highly recommended for a family and friends dinner. Looking forward to visit again!!

We love The Angel, the staff are so friendly and with such a positive atmosphere! We had a lovely post-Christmas celebration with the family and as always we were made to feel very welcome and the food was beautiful!

All four of us felt The Angel was a great place to meet/eat. The food was delicious and the chap serving us was outstanding - attentive, friendly, professional and cheerful. We will definitely be visiting again. 😋😃

Fabulous lunch today. Hadn’t been in for a while as it wasn’t getting good feedback. But new management, team, layout and food was amazing. Will definitely be back again. The Angel is back to its excellent quality service.
