Thank you for choosing Añejo as your go-to Mexican culinary experience. We are located in CF Shops at Don Mills, very close to the downtown core, Don River East Bridge, Toronto Botanical Gardens and more. Our handcrafted, Mexican-inspired recipes are cooked to perfection and hit the spot after a day of sight-seeing or shopping. It is difficult to justify dining at Anejo outside of happy hour where three tacos cost $17 and come out cold with no sauces. This restaurant is good from 2-5 and 10-12 , and mediocre for the remainder.

I know their food is good because I have been to their King St store before. However we could not dine in here on that day. I made a reservation days in advance, when we arrived at the location we were shown the table in front of the concierge, in the way of everyone coming in and out. It was not really the cozy experience we wanted. Plus I made a reservation, is that really the only table you could offer? I would understand if I was a walk-in customer and that was the only table, then I get it. We asked if we can get another table if we wait (bare in mind that we had a reservation). We were told the wait time is 1.5hours so we were at the end of the line now. Anyway we ended up leaving the place, it was a special occasion for us and I wasn’t going to waste it by getting treated worse than literally every other customer in the place. I know they didnt lose anything by losing my business, it is just a bitter memory for us now.

Service was average. One of my markers for service is when your food arrives, do the servers know what each patron ordered or do they just announce each dish waiting for us to point who ordered it. Food was below average. Thank god for hot sauce.

Honestly it was great, Front Desk was really nice, got us seated right away, our server Annika was top tier, friendly knowledgeable and fast. Drinks and food are always amazing!

Good cocktails and the table side guacamole was fantastic. However, the tacos were terrible. None had any filling except the meat and some sad cilantro. Fish tacos were mostly batter and the fish was overcooked. They need to add some pico de gallo or lime slaw to the tacos.

Great food. Great service. Ambiance isn't as good as the Distillery district, but still nice. Margaritas are excellent but pricey, but then when are they not these days.
