Born out of a love for the neighborhood, Mexican food and agave spirits, Añejo was launched in Hell’s Kitchen in early 2012. Here you’ll find what is quite possibly the most eclectic selections of tequilas, mezcals, and Mexican distillations this side of the Hudson. An assortment that perfectly complements each and every dish on the inspired menu. All served in a warm, inviting, authentically artistic environment.

    The food is exceptional! The depth of flavors is impressive and fresh. The margaritas and happy hour menu was perfect. We travel to nyc yearly and this was the best Mexican food we have ever had! We ate here twice during our stay. Don’t miss this place!

    The food was delicious, the staff are kind, couteous and fun. The noise level is very high during Happy Hour and it was hard to hear my friend speak. That was the only negative thing.

    Our first time to Anejo and we would recommend it. The people working there are great: attentive and friendly. We had the traditional guacamole which was delicious. One recommendation is that plain chips are offered as an alternative to the sliced ones. My niece had a cheese quesadilla and a side of beans and rice. We didn’t remember that the menu says the side dish comes covered with a large helping of their chipotle cream and would have opted to leave that off. I had the shrimp tacos and they were perfect! My niece finished with churros which came with 3 dipping sauces: strawberry (she loved this one), tres leches (mea) and chocolate which was a little like a pudding. Their fountain drinks were not very carbonated which was unfortunate. A few minor misses but great where it counts. We’d return.

    Fantastic authentic Mexican food and atmosphere in Hell’s Kitchen. The waitress was very polite and helpful and the food was great and good value. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

    Excellent food. Waitress disappears and we had to get up from the table and ask ask for service twice. Unexplained delays.

    Have to be careful ordering tacos. They come on a basic taco rack, but it comes on a rectangular plate that’s way too small so the taco rack and taco related juice spills out into your lap before you’ve even picked one up. Her dress and my pants were a mess. Tacos were good but they need bigger plates.
