Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for more than thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.

This was one of the odder dining experiences I’ve had. Walk in to a small dimly lit space. Saw a sign dining room downstairs. Immediately redirected back upstairs. Hand written barely legible menu. Very casual staff, loud singing from the open kitchen. The food was excellent. The staff helped direct us to our theatre as we had no cell service. Also odd: every diner was told when they needed the table for the next seating.

Good food. The waitress was harassed by the table next to me, which, paired with some some other odd clients, lead to a not great overall atmosphere. The smoked ox tongue was very good as was the Aligote wine.

Wonderful food, good service, the food arrived promptly. A good wine list. All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Warm, friendly, welcoming and very professional service. Excellent menu choices and the food, so well cooked and full of subtle flavours. Busy but table felt private. Very appealing ambience.

One of the best restaurants in London. The staff are simply magnificent. Food is excellent and ever changing. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A cosy, warm venue with a lot of character and charm. The service was very friendly and welcoming, definitely felt like we could be friends with Tam in another life. Food was high quality but still had an almost 'homecooked' element - I wouldn't consider it a fine-dining restaurant, but the actual food itself was excellent. It was tightly packed until closing and there were times that the noise got a bit much, though I do think that was in part due to a particular group behind us who 'found their voice' after a few drinks. Overall a fantastic night of food and drink that helped us ring in our anniversary. We will absolutely be back.

Been coming here over 20 years now and truly favourite place in London if forced to choose. Great good, nice people, proper atmosphere and well priced wine list. Thankyou
