Situé à Addison, l'Andiamo est un bar-restaurant italien ouvert en 1992. L'intérieur du restaurant a été soigneusement construit pour refléter une salle à manger italienne vintage. Décoré d'horloges anciennes, d'un lustre en fer et de plusieurs œuvres d'art romantiques, l'Andiamo offre le cadre idéal pour un repas en tête à tête ou un souper italien raffiné en famille. Le restaurant utilise uniquement des ingrédients de première fraîcheur au quotidien pour conserver cette saveur italienne unique dans chacun de ses plats. Vous pourrez commencer votre repas à l'Andiamo par une soupe, comme une bisque de homard ou une tortellini in brodo. Chaque soupe est servie avec un pain d'accompagnement. Parmi les autres entrées prisées, l'établissement vous propose des moules fraîches cuites à la vapeur et du saumon fumé. Pour le plat principal, vous pourrez opter pour vos pâtes préférées cuites avec la sauce de votre choix. Surprisingly empty for lunch this day. In the old days, it would always be crowded at lunchtime. Service was very good and welcoming. It was friendly, funny, and attentive. We had a couple people helping us and unfortunately the appetizer got lost, but they recovered fine; bringing it between the salad and entrees. I thought the food was a little inconsistent. The bruschetta was not very good (bread was toasted to the point of a crouton texture and the tomatoes had very little flavor - could’ve used some salt, which was absent from the table). I would not order it again. The mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich was exceptional and highly recommended. The side, Italian House salads were very average without much flavor. And the chicken marsala was OK. The chicken was cooked just right and had flavor, but the marsala sauce was disappointing.

First visit and we have wanted to go for years. Food was good (expected in DFW) but they were seriously short staffed on our visit so service was lousy. The owner is awesome and took care of her tables but the others did not. This really ruined it for us. I normally tip 0-50% and struggled to justify 15% on the food only, not the expensive bottle of wine. I could rant here but we'll come back once more and try again before passing judgement.

Andiamo was a great first-time experience for us as we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal, wonderful service and quiet atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating, kind and fun and the manager went out of his way to welcome us. We will definitely dine with them again!
