   Awful service. Our waitress was extremely rude and did not try to make our experience better. It took over 45 minutes to get just our appetizer and the restaurant was half full. We finally get our entrees and it's the tiniest portions I have ever seen, the cheese is not even melted on the burger. My order was incorrect, I told her and then 10 minutes into eating my salad she said oh if you want they can remake it. Not offering to compensate. Food was 3/10. Views are nice but besides that nothing going for the restaurant. Not sure who management is but they were unavailable when we asked.

   The Anchor Rose is a lovely restaurant. The location is perfect for a scrumptious brunch or lunch with someone special or a group. The food is excellent and the service exceptional.

   Not thrilled about the experience. Unfortunately it was a last minute reservation on Valentine’s Day. Staff may have been overwhelmed.

   Waited 3 hours to receive our entrees and when they did come out my steak was done completely wrong, i had asked for medium rare and received an extremely well done steak. Also my dates plate has looked as though she received the left overs of a plate, missing half a plate of rice and seafood with empty shells.

   French toast was cold when served, and not particularly good. Too bad, would be a nice place for a weekend brunch.

   It was a really nice view and very fast service. The server was extremely handsome too.

   Location and ambience was great, server was very attentive but the food was average and took a very long time to come out especially considering how few people were in the restaurant

   Came on Xmas eve. Wasn’t to busy most probably most had family plans or travel. Billy our server did an excellent job making sure all was attended too and we were satisfied. Food was decent, mixed drink seemed ok, had better cocktails. Would come back during warmer weather.

    We dined during one of the busiest nights of the year, during the holiday boat parade and fireworks show. Apparently they were understaffed, so I don’t want to criticize the service. Our waitress was doing the best she could. But the food. Oh my. First, they were out of the steak which was the one dish I really wanted. Next, their online menu said they had sliders on the kids menu, but their actual menu doesn’t have them and they don’t offer them. Which was a bummer for my kiddo. Next, the oysters we ordered didn’t taste great and then we found a tiny crab whose legs were still moving in one of the oysters 🤢 Lastly, we asked for mashed potatoes as our side instead of French fries. The dish came with French fries, and we didn’t want to send it back due to the staff clearly being overwhelmed. But when we tasted the fries they had been clearly cooked in rancid oil. Honestly, the location is prime but the food was worse tan airplane fare. Will not be coming back.
