Food was great Service not so much. Had to ask for more water, plates for our apps, no desert/coffee/extra drinks asked. Dirty plates left on table for the 40 mins we sat after dinner socializing View great.

Hotel lobby restaurant with view of Lake Superior and modern casual vibe. Decent menu, full bar, and friendly service. Marriott Delta location in newer construction building.

One of my favorite restaurants in North America. The food did take awhile 35-ish minutes, to arrive at the table, for our group of 6, which was much longer than previous visits, however, it was a Friday night before a long weekend and quite busy as a result, so somewhat understandable. As a result I did take one star away from "service", however, I do want to stress that our server herself was very kind, helpful, and accommodating, and definitely deserving of 5 stars.

The view is excellent and service was good but unfortunately the food needs improvement. Fish tacos which I’ve had in the past were not the same . Very saucy , messy and not enjoyed . Nachos and wings were very disappointing. I would return for the view and maybe a cocktail, not the food .

Beautiful restaurant, great view, amazing food, but terrible service. Getting there was a little tricky with parking not easily available and finding the entrance in the hotel. Had the charcuterie board to start, and the salmon dish for the main. Charcuterie was good, the honey was the standout, so delicious. Salmon was also brilliant, portions of sides were huge, very fairly priced at $37. The service though, was among the poorest I’ve ever experienced. Our server, Robin (robyn?) was unbelievably inattentive. A highlight was waiting 35 minutes after ordering dessert, having to ask the bartender to check where our server was, only for her to come running over with the desserts 5 minutes later apologizing. She clearly forgot about us, which was what she did the whole night anyways. Overall a brilliant restaurant offering good prices, food, beautiful views, but bogged down by subpar service.

Our server was wonderful, however, the kitchen was very slow. Once we got our meal, though, it was amazing. Very tasty. I had the special which was slow roasted prime rib, thinly sliced on a bun with onion and cheese. Melt in your mouth deliciousness!

Would not recommend for a special occasion. No special service, no complementary dessert. They have eliminated their brisket platter, which was such a great item. They also have very limited vegan options other than a salad. We've been there dozens of times but service and menu quality had declined significantly. I would reconsider attending again anytime soon.

The service was very good and the view was beautiful. The fact that you have to pay for parking is a definite deterant and the drinks are very expensive. Only 4 drinks was over half our bill. I dont eat out often so this might be the norm but seems a bit extreme. The food was very good and the portion sizes were great but the menu selection is fairly limited.

Our waitress was excellent. The wait for dinner seems longer than expected. The Putanesca shrimp linguini was good. I prolly wouldn’t go back opting to try somewhere else. We were visiting, didn’t realize it was attached to the Marriott.

First time for Sunday brunch at Anchor & Ore. Loved it. You just can't beat the sight of beautiful Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant through the walls of windows. So pretty! Husband and me, our daughter and her friend all had brunch, and all four of us were really happy with the food. Lots of variety, including charcuterie, pastries, delicious cold salads, shrimp & salmon, all the usual breakfast options, including bacon & sausages, buttermilk pancakes with multiple toppings, eggs benedict, breakfast potatoes, and several hot savoury dishes: vegetables stewed in coconut milk (yummy), mushroom gnocchi, roast pork, mussels, a lovely fresh fruit platter with several different mousses (chocolate with fresh mint leaves was delicious), and more! Good coffee and good service. It wasn't busy when we first arrived so we were able to linger and visit without any rush - such a treat! By the time we left, the place had filled up. We'll definitely return.
