We had a disappointing experience for my friend’s birthday brunch today. We made a reservation for 7 of us at 11:00 am. The table had no beverage menus, and when we asked for one it took about 15 minutes to receive it. The waitress then informed us that we couldn’t order a Caesar, we could only have wine or beer. We noticed that they did have a bartender on staff, although she appeared to be casually chatting with a patron for quite a long time instead of working. The only thing we were offered was coffee, with no cream, milk or sugar provided. I had to stir mine with my fork as there were no spoons either. We had to ask several times for proper service. We were all very disappointed by this point so we decided to transition to the restaurant next door for our meal. At that point, we noticed the server speaking with the bartender who then told us that we would be permitted to order cocktails. By that point it was too late. Prices have gone up significantly to $44/plate for the buffet, and service should be excellent quality at this level. I have given this restaurant multiple chances and have continuously been underwhelmed at the quality of the experience. I would not recommend nor dine here in the future unless management intervenes.

Food was great Service not so much. Had to ask for more water, plates for our apps, no desert/coffee/extra drinks asked. Dirty plates left on table for the 40 mins we sat after dinner socializing View great.

Hotel lobby restaurant with view of Lake Superior and modern casual vibe. Decent menu, full bar, and friendly service. Marriott Delta location in newer construction building.

One of my favorite restaurants in North America. The food did take awhile 35-ish minutes, to arrive at the table, for our group of 6, which was much longer than previous visits, however, it was a Friday night before a long weekend and quite busy as a result, so somewhat understandable. As a result I did take one star away from "service", however, I do want to stress that our server herself was very kind, helpful, and accommodating, and definitely deserving of 5 stars.

The view is excellent and service was good but unfortunately the food needs improvement. Fish tacos which I’ve had in the past were not the same . Very saucy , messy and not enjoyed . Nachos and wings were very disappointing. I would return for the view and maybe a cocktail, not the food .

Beautiful restaurant, great view, amazing food, but terrible service. Getting there was a little tricky with parking not easily available and finding the entrance in the hotel. Had the charcuterie board to start, and the salmon dish for the main. Charcuterie was good, the honey was the standout, so delicious. Salmon was also brilliant, portions of sides were huge, very fairly priced at $37. The service though, was among the poorest I’ve ever experienced. Our server, Robin (robyn?) was unbelievably inattentive. A highlight was waiting 35 minutes after ordering dessert, having to ask the bartender to check where our server was, only for her to come running over with the desserts 5 minutes later apologizing. She clearly forgot about us, which was what she did the whole night anyways. Overall a brilliant restaurant offering good prices, food, beautiful views, but bogged down by subpar service.

Wonderful evening! Only real disappointment was having to pay $8!! for 2 hours parking. The food was very good, the waitstaff friendly, the music was wonderful (the main reason we went) The songstress even dedicated a piece to me for my Birthday celebration. My friend from Kamloops BC wanted to visit the Anchor & Ore as we had done last year (same occasion). At times the other conversations tended to bounce off the ceiling which appears to be metal! Very pleased with the evening.

Our server was wonderful, however, the kitchen was very slow. Once we got our meal, though, it was amazing. Very tasty. I had the special which was slow roasted prime rib, thinly sliced on a bun with onion and cheese. Melt in your mouth deliciousness!
