                                                  First time for Sunday brunch at Anchor & Ore. Loved it. You just can't beat the sight of beautiful Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant through the walls of windows. So pretty! Husband and me, our daughter and her friend all had brunch, and all four of us were really happy with the food. Lots of variety, including charcuterie, pastries, delicious cold salads, shrimp & salmon, all the usual breakfast options, including bacon & sausages, buttermilk pancakes with multiple toppings, eggs benedict, breakfast potatoes, and several hot savoury dishes: vegetables stewed in coconut milk (yummy), mushroom gnocchi, roast pork, mussels, a lovely fresh fruit platter with several different mousses (chocolate with fresh mint leaves was delicious), and more! Good coffee and good service. It wasn't busy when we first arrived so we were able to linger and visit without any rush - such a treat! By the time we left, the place had filled up. We'll definitely return.

                                                  We dined there on the 26th. Our Caesar salad was excellent, I had the linguini which was horribly over-salted; the olives were almost impossible to stomach. Service was “ok”. It would have been better with fresh tomatoes, a bit of a cream sauce and less salt! My husband had the ribeye which was “ok”. Somewhat over priced.

                                                  We had terrible service with janifer on the patio. 7 pm reservation on the patio. We were the only ones seated out there. Then 2 other tables got seated. They got their drinks and food before we even got our drinks. We even complained and still no service. When she brought out the bottle of wine finally she put it on table and walked away. Didn’t open it. Didn’t pour it. The table beside us even connected on how poorly we were treated and served.

                                                  I was here June 17 and air conditioner was broken and still continues to be non operational. Time to get this fixed and ribs were burnt. Service was good and atmosphere was amazing.

                                                  We had a great "girls brunch" here on a Sunday. The buffet was fresh and delicious. Server didn't rush us, brought coffee refills. Nice atmosphere on the waterfront. Great experience overall.

                                                  The food was cooked well. The staff failed to advise us that we were going to be rushed out the door within an hour of our arrival. The waitress pushed the bill on us while we were still eating and then came over to advise us they were closing from 2-5.

                                                  The service was impeccable. Our server, Robyn was fantastic and very helpful . The food was delicious. We both enjoyed the salmon dish and Caesar salad.

                                                  Everything was great, and it was a pretty quick service. The only thing was that the kid's burger was too dry, without any veggies.
