Ate for the first time at this lovely restaurant on Cal Ave with indoor and outdoor seating. We had manti, lamb kebab, lamb chops and moussaka. Unfortunately both lamb dishes were overcooked so neither diner loved their dishes - but the moussaka and manti were good.

Great food and excellent customer service. The staff is very attentive, thoughtful and personal. It was refreshing and we had a wonderful dining experience. The food was also amazingly delicious and affordable especially being in Downtown Palo Alto.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Palo Alto! The service is always wonderful and the food is delicious! I have some dietary restrictions and they are always super accommodating

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was exceptional. Truly best we have experienced in Palo Alto. Wonderful dinner experience.

Best manti we have ever had! The shepherds salad and muhammara are also not to be missed. Service was excellent!

Anatolian Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of well-prepared dishes. For appetizers, we tried the calamari fries and falafel, both of which were satisfying and well-executed. The main course featured a grilled Branzino that was perfectly cooked, and the chicken Adana kebab, which was flavorful and tender. While the food quality was impressive, the portions were smaller than expected, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the flavors were on point.

My husband and I enjoyed delicious vegetarian food. There were a lot of vegetarian options to choose from. We were disappointed to find that the pumpkin dessert was not available. We should come back in the fall for it! It's our favorite place to dine.

I must have gone on an off day I guess. We were seated outside on a bare table and it wasn't a comfortable setting, we were off to the side, no real ambience other than sitting in front of a closed neighboring storefront. Everything took time from getting water and eventually, they wanted me to order everything up front. I wanted to go with apps and then decide but I guess we go Taco bell style and order everything in one go. The most interesting twist was that we didn't get ANY rice with our Moussakkah or Salmon and instead they gave us french fries! French fries and salmon!!! I cannot believe I am even putting those two in the same sentence. The menu clearly says rice pilaf for both dishes but no , it didn't look like we or anyone else for that matter got rice. Maybe they ran out or had some issue with the rice, but shouldn't you tell us that when we order? Shouldn't you ask if we would like something else instead? In the end, it was all for a birthday and I had made a special note of it as well on the reservation but no, no one bothered, heck they didn't even come over to ask if wanted a second glass of wine. Food showed potential but I wouldn't really know because combining these dishes with fries and a chardonnay is beyond my capacity to put together. Maybe I'll try it again one day just to give them another chance.
