Ananda is a unique restaurant serving Royal Indian cuisine. This particular type of food has an interesting culinary history, as it combines the traditional flavors of India with that of the English colonists who lived there for many years. Over time, the cooking styles of the two cultures fused, creating something that is wholly unique to this region of the world.Ananda is a beautiful restaurant with a grand total of eight fireplaces for guests to sit around and enjoy their meal. Diners will find classic dishes such as chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo right alongside more exotic choices such as the pan-fried whole goa fish topped with tamarind and scallions. Visitors that are in a hurry will be happy to learn that most dinner menu items can be ordered for takeout at a reduced price.

Poor service & very in-hospitable crew besides one staff. The food was delicious & the buffet had a lot of choices. Unfortunately, most of the fast moving buffet items were not replenished on time including Nan. The rice was not changed while we were there. When we informed the senior staff that the Butter Chicken counter doesn't have chicken, we were informed... It will come:(.. Besides the service, the food was delicious & the restaurant had great ambience...

Ananda is both absolutely gorgeous and delicious. There is no sign outside, which is so intriguing and well, super cool. Every detail has been carefully thought of from - picturesque landscaping, to the beautiful outdoor area with a huge fire-pit and courtyard, to the warm and inviting bar and lounge, to the unique event spaces, main indoor dining area - with so much character –to the stunning year round terrace. Ananda is so well designed; it feels like a privilege to walk inside. The menu was just as impressive. Every bite was memorable, the flavors were perfectly balanced – I feel like I could really taste every component of each dish. Spot on presentations and wonderful, attentive staff. Highly recommended.
