Located off the beautiful Waterway of The Woodlands, Amrina is a fine-dining eclectic restaurant. The menu is a testament to the artistry of Chef Jassi and his chefs, crafted with an unparalleled devotion to culinary excellence. From the opulence of oysters and caviar to an array of tantalizing vegetarian, meat, and seafood delights, every dish reflects the diversity and richness of Indian gastronomy. Steaks include succulent filet mignon, mouthwatering bone-in ribeye, ever-popular New York strip, and sumptuous A5 Miyazaki ribeye.

The restaurant has been honored Restaurant of the Year 2022 by several publications, including Eater Houston. Alison Cook of the Houston Chronicle, has hailed Amrina “one of Houston’s most exciting restaurants, with destination-worthy dining”. Second time here: service is always impeccable, food is consistently good, with different types of food than what you normally see. Only complaint is the music broadcast throughout the restaurant is often too loud.

The overall experience was average. It took over 30 min past our reservation to get our table. Food was tasty but portions were very small and we went home hungry. The New Years celebrations were not very well planned. Only Indian-Punjabi dance music. No additional variety. Not worth the $$$ we paid.

The food was great. Nice take on Indian cuisine. Good flavor and presentation. Front of the house kind of sucks. 20 minute wait time past reservation time. A bit of attitude from the host person. The place was loud, but not the restaurants fault. Holiday crowd, a lot of people chatting around our table. Good food. Try the place.

Being Indian, I was skeptical yet curious. The restaurant was recommended by an American friend, as upscale Indian restaurant. I ended up loving the unique food experience.

Everything about our experience was outstanding. A party of 4, we shared a couple of delicious appetizers and then each ordered a main that was perfect for each of us. My buttered chicken, my husband’s scallops, and our friends had a veggie dish and the short rib. Service was excellent and the ambience perfect. Oh, and the “New Fashioned” cocktail is sooo good, and beautifully presented. We ended our meal with a great birthday dessert!
