At the intersection of Harbor Point and Fells Point, Ampersea is redefining cuisine that's modern, Maryland, authentic. A destination innovating the way Baltimore dines on the Patapsco River. Perched on the western corner of Thames Street and located in the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum building with the Living Classrooms Foundation, Ampersea dining room, patio, and event spaces offer a stunning combination of panoramic harbor views, impeccable service, and delectable dishes. During our busy season the restaurant has policies in place that may affect your reservation. please review the following:
- Entire party arrived to be sat
- All parties larger than 4 people must call into the restaurant to schedule their reservation.
- All tables are subject to an 18% auto-gratuity.

Decent but not great food on a Sunday afternoon. price was pretty high. Probably paying for the view which was nice. As a visitor I’m not familiar with the value relative to surrounding restaurants. May be a fair deal, but struck me as a little overpriced

Joey Giovani was the greatest host ever. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and he made everything wonderful. Kudos to great staff, servers down to the busboys. ❤️

We had a table right on the water! The wait staff was constantly circling and refilling our waters. It was a fantastic experience!

The Ambiance and view of the water were amazing! The food left something to be desired. The actual menu is not what is published online or website and was disappointed because of that. I ordered the market fresh fish and shrimp with mushroom sauce. It was bland and came with no vegetables. I had to order them separately and didn’t like that. My husband ordered crab cake and fries it was okay and was better than mine. Waitress was very helpful, attentive and polite. Food quality did not meet the cost.

My family and I celebrated my daughter’s 17 birthday at Ampersea, the staff was very friendly. We were able to bring a cake, they put it in the fridge for us. The manager was a sweet heart definitely will be back again.

Great ambience and wonderful staff. The service was great and location on water was perfect. They have a nice menu with a variety of options. Definitely was a good choice when we visited Fells Point and would recommend and return.
